Threat of child sex abuse serious in Middlesex County

It's a shame, really, that there's only so much room for articles on such things because there's so much more that parents should know.

I have 3 girls and I can't imagine brushing an abuse allegation off. I understand that in decades gone by things were different. Back then it was considered best to keep it hush hush because then the child was looked upon as the problem. What a way to turn it around huh?

When I was young I saw many things a child shouldn't have to see. And there was noone there for me either. I am sure many people my age and kids today can say the same.

I agree. Times have changed.
Back "in the day," people had a tendency to stay out of things but nowadays it's a lot different.

This world is so crazy and messed up. Back then it was bad and now it is just as bad and getting worse only because things are being brought out in the open. Nothing really has changed. The only thing is that now we hear more about it for our childrens safety. I have one daughter and two boys. They are grown, I have two granddaughters and if i even so as hear of anyone trying to place their hands on them, I will go off like a wild cracker on steroids on that person. They'd be dead in a heart beat. Brushing this stuff off is not the idea. I am tired of the garbage...what happens in this house....stays in this holuse crap.
