Arrest made in Tulare teen's shooting death

Tulare police made an arrest Monday in the city's first homicide of 2008.

Julio Madrigal, 18, of Pixley was arrested in his hometown early Monday. A gun was also confiscated, a Tulare Police Department report stated. Madrigal is a suspect in the death of Richard Fernandez, 18, of Tulare.

The case began shortly after noon Saturday, when Fernandez was taken to Tulare District Hospital. There he was rushed into an operating room for treatment for a single gunshot wound. He died a short time later, the report stated. Police believe the shooting happened in the 1000 block of Vetter Drive in Tulare, where Fernandez and Madrigal were involved in an altercation

LOL...hey thats means u must be in pixley alot cuz they do "cruise" on their bikes. and if the bike is flat they stand outside and look tuff. as for why they would be surprised. well i cant say much cuz if u chk the "graffiti" comments, i got another one on my ass now. but all i can say is that they know me real good.
