Maybe they should go to caning here like in Indoneasia. I doubt I'd have gotten more than one of those before the point was made.
You may not be a philosopher, but your philosphy is really good. More paddling = less trouble

The principal whipped a child at school so hard that the DFS was called because of the bruising left on the child and the other child that was involved received nothing. this is not right and the principal needs to be fired. I am a nurse at the hayti hospital and saw the bruising. It was very sad. Something needs to be done.
I am the parent of the other child that was involved and my child also received 3 licks, and my child did NOT have any bruises .....

If you are an authority in english, tell me why I'm wrong. Don't just say you are wrong. To say a RN, doesn't even sound right.

I also got my rear-end busted several times and it didn't do me permanent harm, but the lesson was permasnent. You may be correct about it not being legal in your state, but I think you must have gotten some ill information. Sometimes an old fashioned whippin is in order wheather in school, or at home

How do you know the bruises are from the discipline received by the principal? They really well could have come from the discipline received when the child got home from school? Two spankings in one day just might cause a small amount of bruising. I wore my share of bruises when I received a spanking as a child and I also learned that actions have consequences - some good some not so good. That's what is wrong with kids now a days, the don't know the meaning of consequences received by the actions because parents do not teach them that. They let everyone else do it for them. Kids are not hatched, their born and raised by adults - anyway that is the way it was meant to be.

first of all I'm a highway patrolmen and second no one is going to whip my kids and if u feel that they shud whip in school that's ur opinion but the parent is the one that Is supposed to whip their children not the teacher it teaches the child respect for teachers and parents so they won't get in trouble at school discipline is supposed to be kept in the home not at school.

Everybody can tell by your stupid posts that you may want to be a state patrol, but you really aren't. As far as whipping at school, I think it is like driving a car. Don't do anything illegal and you don't have to worry about being stopped, behave yourself in school and you don't have to worry about getting WHOOPED.

We are probably really lucky that someone like that is not a highway patrolman

Daily Horoscope for June 4

Taurus

Get involved in financial transactions at your peril under today's Lunar Eclipse, because certain people will use them as a stick to beat you with. For instance, if you ask someone to lend you money they'll either make you feel guilty about it or dredge up all sorts of past instances when their trust was betrayed. You would also be well advised to avoid any show of possessiveness or jealousy, even if you feel it, unless you truly don't care about the disastrous outcome.
