Whats the big deal if a felon can hunt or own a object that can be considered a weapon? I'll bet if your man had a felon and the times got a little tougher, and the only damn means of him putting food in your fat face, was for him to go in those woods with a fire arm to hunt, your ignorant being would be standing at the edge of those woods with a set of palm palms on,would'nt you??!!

But, until times get that rough, let's keep firearms away from convicted felons. People who aren't smart enough to live by the law doesn't need to carry guns.

you know what the problem is that guns don,t kill people do and also how many people including law enforcment that goes out and kill-steal- destroy everyday but people hide all of it from the media i know i used to run the streets but always tracking behind someone else that,s why i got caught up in non violent crimes but the people that is talking bad about everybody why don,t you put the truth out just like the felons do on the web to see how many crimes you have done, but i see you are scared to do that because you will get caught see we are not scared only because we know what happen you don,t the only thing you can do is look at the conviction and start running your mouth ,how many people are dead-locked up from the system that did nothing so who has the felon conviction in GOD eyesight you are the person you think done something, the system wants one thing is to close the books up no matter who goes down, this day in time felons and non felons are killing each other for nothing and most of them are people that don,t have a conviction on paperwork but they do felonly acts all the time,so the gun is not the problem it depends on who got the gun in there hands,IMEAN ANYBODY.IF you ever go to prison for anything you have some of the most smartest people in prison just like outside of prison, you have good and bad no matter were you go so don,t judge.

It's not a matter of passing judgement on someone. The felon has already been judged by 12 unless he waved that right himself.

i am a ex-felon! i paid good money to a lawyer to have my record sealed in 1999. i was sealed under act 346 of 1975. i went and bought to handguns after a intruder broke in to my house and stabbed me. The ATF called me and told me that i couldn't have the guns and to sell them and fax the bill of sale to their field office. I did what they asked. But i bought some more and was in the sherriff's dept. I got ran and they throwed me in jail for "fip" but my dad showed the prosicuiter my en-sealment papers and he dropped the charges. Just the other day i got hauled to jail for "fip" or felon in possesion of firearm,a crappy ole .36 cal cap and ball revolver!lol They turned me loose, but i haven't got my gun back yet and they haven't filed charges. The fed law and state are diff on black powder guns so if u are a felon,u really need to see what classifies as a firearm in your state. Trust me if ure going to take a chance on getting in trouble, don't b like me and listen to those gun shop dumbasses, they don't know like a lawyer. If ure going to take the chance carry a GLOCK,AK-47,or a damn MISSILE LAUNCHER not a crumby muzzle loader!!!!!!!!!!

4sure wrote: <quoted text> They CAN NOT BOW HUNT! No type of weapon thay fires anytype of projectile! Florida allows them to bow hunt, because a bow does not use any type of ammo or air to send a projectal thru a barrel, I was hunting with a guy an the game warden didn't want to go thru the hassel of defining a firearm an a none firearm muzzel loader that ATF STATES IS NOT A FIREARM! SO HE LET HIM GO ON HUNTING! Bow an crossbow hunting legal for felon in Florida = as long as they have a PERMIT! they just can't vote here

hey numbnutts wrote: <quoted text> Because, they broke the law and don't deserve the same rights that people who have not broken the law. Duuuuh You a felon, you lose rights! Simple Thought I would reply to this. I am 30 years old and was convicted of a felony 10 years ago. I have completely changed my life 7 years ago. It's interesting how some people like the one above can be so unforgiving and careless of giving people another chance to suceed. Everyone makes mistakes in life. Hopefully the guy who made this comment will one day understand such a concept.
