Did obama win because he is black or democrat?

Did americans speak volumes tonight? Is it because americans are sick of George Bush and his administration that ruined this country or is it because many minorities were able to vote?

unfortunately, John Mccain could not make the americans believe that 4 more years of republicans running the country would not be 4 more years of hell, like we just had. We should of inpeached George Bush. He should be tried for war crimes. It is unfortunate for the republicans that he has been the worst president that the United States has ever had. We could not afford 4 more years of HIM, hell we cannot afford 2 more months.

This def proved that so many ppl are ill informed and don't care. Anyone paying taxes that voted BO should have their head examined. I guess these ppl just don't know very much about politics or history..all one has to do is check what the economy was before the dems took control over 2 yrs ago. I guess they don't know we have been safe since after 9/11...I guess they don't know that BOs own VP said he thinks BO winning the presidency is going to cause an international crisis within 6 mos of taking office. LOL...BO said he will cut military funding..oh oh..LOL..We can only hope all the bad that is going to happen, only happens to BO voters.

I did not say that Bush ruined my life. I have a great life, I just know that the Bush administration has lied to Americans. Americans are hated by foreigners because they think all Americans share his view on several issues.

i dont get why people hate Bush so much. People get mad and say that we should bring the troops out. That is a bogus idea. That is what the United States Army does all over the world. We send troops to countries all over the world to help sort problems out. and we ARE making progress. I think that if we take the troops out, Osama bin Laden is gonna feel safe to come out of hiding with no Americans around, who knows what could happen then if he tries to organize an attack or something. Also, the economy. The economy has a natural curve that has fluxuated up and down every so many years. Plus, Americans hurt the economy, not the President. The President basically approves things like bailouts to fix what problems greedy Americans cause. So what if he is a bad speaker, he can get his point across if you listen to him instead of making fun of him, but i must admit some of his words he makes up are FUNNY. haha

Bush was the best thing that ever happen to this country,But there are so many unbelivers, he diden have a chance.But time will and is telling.
and the reason these people voted for obama was simple fact that he lied and told them he would give them a check, so they sold out there country
for a check,that they will never see.

I know Bush done it, I seen him. Seriously, I think he is a good person and tried his best. I don't agree with all that has happened but you have Congress and Senate and an idiot that was vice president, so, he was fighting a losing battle.

Obama won because he promised "change" and new hope for America and people fell for it. He pulled the wool over their eyes and won their votes. Now, for the (ah-hem) "change" he promised........

obama won because of both reasons, because he's black and because he's a democrat!

Obama won because he is intelligent, sincere and very likable--more than most candidates and a good man who just happened to be black and white. "Who would have thunk it???"

I am still young I hope to recoup. My parents cannot--they are older--sick and retired. He robbed them of health care that if they used it cost more and more. The drug companies charge outrageous prices for many of their medications. Why do they charge these prices? Big buisness and pork barrels and lobbyist. My dad had a nice nest egg--if he touched it to take it out and say do some repairs on the house--it was taxed so heavily its bit by gone. and Obama has to clean up this mess. If he doesn't do it fast enough, the republican bastards will say that the democrats stink. The republicnas have actually said that they want Obama to fail, WTF. We all have to work together.
