don't work with these people before checking google.com which responds with numerous claims of SCAM!

I sent a $100 downpayment and almost 6 weeks later they claim to have no obligation of providing tickets for package we contracted for, won't return my numerous phone calls to customer service and won't discuss return of my downpayment.

I think these people must have taken the course offered by the late W.C. Fields entitled, "There's A Sucker Born Every Minute." My wife and I were offered $100.00 in gas, airline tickets and a Marriott vacation package. Needless to say, there were significant strings attached to each portion of the "free gifts." We decided to check out each provider on-line and were not surprised to find out there were many problems with each of them. We got away without any loss of money but feel bad for those who were not so fortunate. Sure makes you wonder about the companies which were selling (in our case it was time shares in Virginia) something. If their "giveaways" are that shady, what does it say aboout their products?

Thanks to Barry, Brian, and David at this site and others at other sites. In addition to WC Fields' observation above, the saying "if it seems too good to be true, it is probably bogus," fits Internet commerce especially accurately. I received an offer like David's above from the same-named outfit in Massachusetts. I googled the company and have found nothing good to say. With the proliferation of scams on the Internet and the sheer size that doesn't give any sort of enforcement group a chance to clean up all the slime and slime balls, we need to be vigilant and do our part in posting complaints. So, if there is any good to come, it is that folks are helping one another out to avoid fraud. Thanks, all.

We attended this seminar last night claiming to give us a two night Marriott stay, a $100.00 gas card and a fifty dollar visa debitjust for listening to their 90 in bullshit. You have a better chance of winning an oversized stuffed animal at the sttae fair, than getting a single penny worth of their promised crap. STay away ! keep you $75.00. these people are scam atists and their sole purpose is to steal your hard-earned miney and give you nothing in return bt a sardonic smirk. Be wisw, don't fall for these cons!

The scam continues to be perpetrated in NY and NJ by "Dream Works" in Parsippany, NJ offering JetBlue Tix and a RitzCarlton stay. Beware!

went to Dream works presentation last night in Parsipanny NJ. have been to HGVC presentation and Disney vacation club presentations before. This one had an erie feel to it. O=The deal sounds great for discounted travel etc., but to claim your "free" airline tickets and 7 day car rental and 100 gas card, you need to put up $50 for each ticket and $75 for the car now.

This seems to be the way various timeshare sellers or vacation discount companies use to attract possible buyers by offering free airline tickets or hotel for attending a 90 minutes to try to sell you a vacation club. I did attend but did not buy anything nor sent the $150.00 deposit required in order to receive my vacation package.
You should not have to pay if it is free.

Daily Horoscope for November 30

Cancer

The nurturing Moon continues to move through your eleventh house of friends and associates, possibly bringing a mentor into your life. There is always much wisdom that can be gained by observing the lives of others; you can avoid certain mistakes by watching them made by others. In this case, you may be faced with financial or sexual issues as Jupiter shakes things up in your eighth house of sex, money, and power... if the stakes are high, you need to think twice.
