Actually, the original headline is factually correct. If one reads the article, one will immediately see that it is about Dr. Johnson, her roots and her candidacy.
It is NOT discussing the professional titles of all the parties involved in the election. Therefore your suggestion for an alternate title is somewhat pointless and inaccurate.
The previous comment is in response to the post on the Peninsula Daily News Forum by a reader who feels that the original headline introducing Dr Diane Johnson as a candidate for the District 3 Commissioner's seat (at present held by John Austin) should be amended to represent his professional qualifications also.
