Please Help!! Port Huron Wedding

Hello, I am planning my wedding for June 26, 2010. We are going to have the reception at the Thomas Edison Inn. I have one BIG problem... I have no place for the ceremony! We were hoping to find a wedding chapel but the Colonial House was the only one and it's very small. I'm trying to find something for about 150 people. I would rather not have an outside wedding unless there is a backup location in case of rain. I'm just so surprised that with Port Huron being right on Lake Huron that there isn't a place right on the water where people can hold a ceremony. Even if it's a hall and I just need to decorate it.

If you have any ideas for a wedding ceremony... please share them with me! It doesn't have to be right in Port Huron as long as it's not far from the Edison Inn. Thank you for your time!

You can have your ceremony at the Thomas Edison Inn. You can plan an outdoor reception on their patio facing the river and if it rains they will arrange a plan B for you inside in one of their ballrooms.

There is always Mcmorran Place. My cousins had a wedding there in Febuary Or 2008 and it was beautiful.

The Thomas Edison Inn out on the patio is a great place to have a wedding, My cousin did and the backround, of water bridge and possible a ship was very pretty and romantic. The Inn does wonders with the patio,in the way of decorations,do consider it.
