Moriah Football

Good job again this year Moriah JV and Vasity. The Varsity are playing tonite for the Class D title. You and the coaches have gotten some bad revues but as far as i'm concerned you have as good a team this year as you did last year. If you guys play hard and get your blocks in I think you can Blow Ticonderoga away. You are the bettor team by far. You could have and should have been undeafeated. The coaches did not lose those 2 games. If all the critics know anything about football they saw a good Moriah team Play 2 Quarters instead of 4. When they played all 4 quarters they could not be stopped. To say they aren't as good as last year is hogwash. Go Get Them Tonight Vikings. You are the best team and the coaches aren't doing anything different than Gilbo, Cotter, and Guyette use to do. You are an excellent team and I will be cheering for you to go all the way. You can do it.

To Balston Spa, They may have tried it on 4th down if they had a reliable kicker, which we didn't at the time. We fumbled on 3rd down so we will never know. To the Moriah Vikings, Good job, You blew Ticonderoga out just like i said you could. Good luck next week. You did a hell of a job lineman. Excellent blocking. Go Vikings.

Rensalear said in the Times Union that they would like to beat Greenwich so they could get another shot at Moriah. They said Moriah put them out of the play offs to early(meaning they should have beaten you) Well they won and they are a good team with pretty near everbody back from last year. If any of our lineman, ends, and backs read this get the fire going in everyone in practice this week to hit all of your blocks like you did against Ti and I don't think anyone can stop our runner. Get them going in practice. You will have to come out fired up right off the bat against Rensalear. They maybe good, but you guys are bettor. Go Vikings. You want it, YOU TAKE IT. Anybody know where the game is being played yet?

The boys might wanna put on their sneakers for this Friday night! Rensalear is very fast. They have three good backs and a good Q.B. too!It'll be a very tough game.They want revenge after last year! I'm not saying the boys can't beat them, but we will have to play at the top of our game!!! No more fooling around now, you lose, your done! I sure would like to go back to the DOME!!Our kids can do it! They have to have that hunger to get back there. Gotta take it one game at a time! WE can't look past anybody. Good Luck Vikings against Rensalear. DEFENSE has to step up and play good football like you have played all year. They are fast and have everyone back for revenge.
