The point was the source of his hatred of Western Civilization. Human history is paved with injustices, but we move on, ergo, the Japanese are our ally, the Germans an ally, etc. Should we hate all Americans for slavery? Some are too ingrained to forget that is the point, obamas chip on his shoulder is a big one.

so you are saying one should'nt apologize for ones transgressions.the good we have done for the world far out weighs are bad.but that doesn't mean we should gloss over our wrongs.when you acknowledge when you have erred,it helps prevent such actions in the future.google,tulsa riots of the 1920s,and then tell me those wronged don't deserve an apology.

Thats a lie, when the US invaded germany it was a gold mine. our government smuggled over 1000 scientists and engineers into our country to work for us. we got NASA technology rocket technology and military technology from those we smuggled in like von brahn and teslawhom most became the head of military and aeronautic facilities. so we kinda have to thank the germans for giving us a head start into our future. after all we did have strong nazi influence as we use today even. the NAZI legacy lives on. just in a different country. maybe that why our government aks like NAZI's sometimes trying to be the world police
