Not all employees were paid their final wages---Mr Lifland was incorrect in saying this. A number of employees were left to pay their own company creidt card bill to American Express to avoid damage to their own personal credit. Mr. Cerino handled the closure without an ounce of compassion or grace to his loyal employees. He may one day need to seek employment and will soon discover the pressure it takes to report to someone.

We were not paid wages owed us. Vacaton time was not paid. Employees laid off prior to the closing were paid their vacation time. The employees left until the closing should be entitled to the same. We had no insurance coverage as on 3/1 although the deductions were still being taken from our weekly check. The premiums were not paid to the insurer so why were the deductions still taken? Where did that money go? It was 3/13 not 3/16 that they closed.

Sorry to see this happen to you guys there. I work as a receiver for Penn Traffic, one of your clients. It came as a shock to us as well, and I know our local rep was already working 2 jobs. They left us hanging, we still have a huge outstanding credit they are refusing to acknowledge now, like $13k in merchandise disappeared, vanished! Unreal that they just hung the employees out to dry like that. From one of your former clients, I wish all of you formers from RSA luck!

I worked for that company for years. When Tony Senior was plant boss. I remember it was a good cpmpany to work for. The company was a family company for workers. When Tony senior became sick his son Tony junior took over the company. When that happened the company changed. They started to treat the employees like crap. They would give written warnings for any reason. Here are some examples, when there was a big snow storm some of the workers were written up for not driving in the storm, some of them were written up for going to court, and the best one was someone was written up for not calling out of work cause they were in the hospital after being shot. Those are some examples how the company was. I am glad they lost there company, cause now they know what its like to be screwed.

Sounds like a few of you have been holding grudges for quite some time. You all seem to be former employees who left quite some time ago. And for the record the gentleman from stratford has been granted insurance, so they will be taken care of. God bless them.

If you quit 2 years ago, how would you know about the person who "was shot"? Gossip maybe? I QUIT THAT JOB wrote: I worked for that company for years. When Tony Senior was plant boss. I was one of the out of state merchandisers and like others got screwed. I did get my last check along with the mileage and Jan/Feb expenses ($850) thankfully. What I lost out on was the couple weeks of toll money ($175 for March) and my insurance paperwork was not sent in right before closing which is making things tough right now. I know I'm not in as bad a spot as many others, I don't have a family to take care of and just want to wish my fellow victims out there the best of luck in the future.

What can you expect from someone who was diddling around with someone at work behind his first wife's back. When a business closes it hurts everyone involved. Although I agree that people are hurt and need a place to vent, personal attacks on the family doesn't serve to help the situation. Two wrongs do not make a right. What's done is done. Focus on forgiveness and move on with your lives. You will be a better person for it. I wish everyone the best of luck.

Gossip maybe?<quoted text> How i know who was shot cause i was working there when he or she was shot so its not gossip. You are probable one of the former owners who dont want there dirty laundry aired out. The company would put fear into all of the employees that they would lose there job. Alot of them where scared to say anything and to talk to anyone from the company cause they know that they would have been fired for any reason.I am happy they are closed.:)

I was at the milford factory, they were there a little over a year before they became losers lol. So i am not that much of a former employee. They had pickers & packers work in deplorable condition's. They would have to run around this thing that looked like a rat maze to do there work, it was probably about 3 feet wide, there was always garbage on the floor plastic on the floor. The company only cared about making money. That place sucked. What comes around goes around. They got what was coming to them. It is called karma......

I have been reading all of the comments here and i have some stuff to say... I know who was shot and they where written up. I know that the working conditions where poor. I myself was hurt there, cause an outside company left a pallet on the floor and when i was coming around the corner i didnt see it and trip landed on top of the old lights that were on the pallet, fell to the floor and my hip was hurt, granted it was not the companys negligents but, what was the companys negligents they should have seen it there and saw it was a hazzard. But they did not
