Child abuse is the "primary social sickness" in the USA - in time we will cause our institutions to stop hiding from this reality.

Last March when this sex offender was stopped, the New Ulm police department stated: "Police became involved after a resident tipped them to the relationship." ---- The resident did it right by reporting to law enforcement about suspected sexual abuse.

The school district also stepped into the 21st century by not "passing the trash" to another school district as was the common practice previously. "In time we will cause our institutions to stop hiding from this reality [child abuse being the nations "primary social sickness]"

One can only hope the Archdiocese is following this excellent example -- and stop the cover-up and enabling of clergy sexual abuse.

TEACHER GUILTY OF SEX WITH STUDENT SENTENCED

A former Sleepy Eye teacher who pleaded guilty to felony sexual assault involving a 16-year-old student was sentenced Tuesday.

Calvin Collum must spend 180 days in jail, register as a sex offender and pay a $1500 fine.

The judge also said he must provide a DNA sample to the Department of Corrections, get a psycho-sexual evaluation, must not take drugs or alcohol and agree to random testing.

Collum reached a plea deal on Sept. 30.

Police said they began investigating Collum's relationship with the girl after some teachers and classmates noticed the two were spending a lot of time together.

In March, the school district voted not to renew Collum's contract as an English teacher.

Don't need to. Those that were found guilty in a court of law are a part of public information for anyone in the world to see and know.

If you read my post correctly, I said that "some priests and Bishops will have some explaining" was directed that when they die, Jesus Christ will hold them accountable.

Public television aired some facts about sexual abusers and the problems that the government was having trying to keep track of them.

They stated that there are 686,000+ "known" sex abusers in the United States.

There are 4,392 "known" Catholic cleric sex abusers in the United States. Just do the math and you will get less than 1%, just not to have any questions about my math, I increased it to 2% on just about triple the actual percent.

The Bishops got involved in the Health Care because Pelosi asked them for their advice. Yes, she kissed arse and allowed an amendment to not fund abortions. She did not have the votes to pass her health bill. As usual, politicians will stoop as low as humanly possible to get a high in their power struggle.

This must not continue, how many victims must speak out before ROSE is arrested? It's obvious the CHURCH is playing the delay game again,ROSE being 76 I'm sure they want him to take all of his ABUSE details to the grave. ANYTHING TO PROTECT THE INSTITUTION.

Read an article in the TRIBUNE about how the CHURCH is giving counciling to GAYS to cure thier so called DISEASE.Just wondering are these the same councilers who released the PRIESTS to ABUSE VICTIMS after they were councilled. I think the CHURCH should try some councilling on HUMANITY.

83% of the so-called "Child abuse" cases in the Catholic church were of a homosexual nature. In the old days seminarians who were found out to be homosexual were promptly booted out as "immature". But Liberals got control of the seminaries in the late 1960's and didn't just allow homosexuals in, they welcomed them in--they probably advertised in the Castro district of San Francisco! And the results were a deluge of homosexual abuse cases of 11-15 year old boys. May Christ forgive us for allowing all those horny homosexuals into the priesthood.

In retrospect the Boy Scouts were much more vigilant in protecting their young men than the Catholic Church. I am happy to see that in the last few years Pope Benedict has made huge progress in ousting the homosexual element. Thank God!
