This is a shame. I used to wrestle at Great Bridge along with Mark. He was a beast and I thought he had a bright future in wrestling. Hopefully he can get his life back together, get clean and sober, and get back on the mat.

Hell I am 47 years old and my parets atill live in poquson ,back in the day during cub wrestling we had wonderful coaching , Mr.Benton and state champs he coached and Butch Backus always had the kids best interests at heart , most with little or no pay ,if they saw tallent they went the extra mile to take children under their wing at no cost often paying for things our parents couldnt afford , it is a shame this man dosent realize the impact his behavior has on the entire comunity not just wrestling ,that being said he may have been good at wrestling oponents but not his own demons .

At this point, participating in wrestling, in any capacity, should be the least of his worries. He needs to consider his family and straighten himself out. Especially before he does irreparable damage to his family, himself, or anyone else.

Obviously this guy doesn't give a rats a$$, he keeps going out & screwing up & getting caught, he should have been put in jail along time ago, but that wont happen until he hurts/kills someone, pathetic!

He's obviously had the time he needs to get professional help. After going through the previous arrests and convictions you would think he had his "wake-up call". Now it's time to experience time in a jail cell. If nothing else it will give him time to dry out and maybe do some soul searching. Enough is enough and if Eileen Addison is intimidated by Clancy, then someone needs to remove her from her post and put someone in there that will not take this nonsense. As for his family. I hope they too are getting the help that they need. And people for God sake, quit trying to defend this repeat offender. What are you saying to the kids; that it's alright to break the law as long as you hire a good attorney and he can get you off. This is becoming absurd! This man has repeatedly broken the law and will continue to do so until he is thrown in jail for a while. And who knows, even then, hemay just go out and do the same thing over again. Some people don't ever GET IT!

Who is the deputy in question in this incident? Did he have something to do with the first arrest? Maybe he felt Strickland should have gotten more the first time. Maybe he initiated an incident here. I'm sure there's more than meets the eye, here. Does the term "reprisal" mean anything to anyone?

The officer had nothing to do with the first arrest. Poquoson Police arrested him the first time, not York. Quit making excuses for Strickland's behavior. I know our police have better things to do than to pick a fight with a drunk at a fast food restaurant on a Friday night. I hope Strickland gets the help he needs, he's a train wreck that just keeps happening over and over.

Just a little info for Daily Press....The Marijuana Charge will be dismissed if he completes the program. It will not be stricken from his record as no charge if you plead guilty can be removed from their record. Just thought your would like to know.

Is there anyone out there that is really surprised that he did it again? I mean really. There are a huge number of us who are certain he will do it again, and again, and again.

I wonder if the move-ins that were moving back out with him to go to St. Christoper's have already paid their non-refunable tuition for next year. I hope so. You were so quick to bail out of Poquoson, I say it's time for you to go and take him with you. Drop him off anywhere along the way.

Wake up Eileen, this is what happens when you agree to a plea agreement just to get a case off your docket and to reduce your trial prep time. What's it gonna take for the York/Poquoson DA office and the judge to wake up and take care of the business of MS? Someone being injured, dead? Thank goodness he wasn't behind the wheel of a car. Or was he? Or was he out with his enabling "friends"? And believe it, those friends are still drinking with him.

I thought he had to stay clean for a year just to get his license back. Opps, he did it again. Now let's see if the legal system steps up and finally takes care of their business.

ENOUGH!

It's amazing how MS supporters continue to blame the police, the legal system and everyone else for MS problems. Three, count them THREE arrests, and each one in three different cities.

But no, you MS groupies continue to say
"it's a conspiracy against MS",
"the police were out to get him",
"I wonder who MS ticked off to have this happen to him",
"he has done nothing wrong",
he made a mistake",
"he's getting treatment",
"he won't do it again",
"give him a break",
"leave him alone",
"everyone deserves a second chance",
and the arguments go on and on and on.

Take off the freakin' blinders people.

Daily Horoscope for December 24

Leo

Perhaps it's the fact that it's Christmas Eve and everyone is busy, but you can't help feeling that you're walking on eggshells around certain people. Their emotions are very close to the surface and could erupt at a moment's notice, perhaps in a storm of tears or a fit of pique. Calm them down and ask if you can do anything to help.
