Yes this project needs to be done, but what about all the people that are going to lose their houses and land?

Yes, I realize that they buy it from the people, but what about the people that it's only going to cut through part of it? They only get a little amount of money, but have to deal with a big ass road right outside your back door? No one in their right mind would want to live next to that, especially with kids and horses.

It is called PROGRESS, If the people don't like it there they can move, right now is an excellent time to buy a new home, there are plenty that aren't selling.......just an idea.

Okay, so it's not as easy as you say. I know of someone that is losing the back half of their property due to the new highway. They will only get reimbursed for that part of the land thats getting taken. What are they supposed to do with the rest of it? Sell it? Who would buy it? How is it feasible that they should have to pay for the house that has a big highway in the back yard because no one will buy it? And then because the place is no longer safe for children and animals, would then have to buy another house and pay for it too? That's insane.

Overreact much? There are homes along highways all over the nation.
