Obama has demonstrated by his actions that his ideology is totally contrary to this Nations Constitution and Bill of Rights.

The latest is this agreement with Hillery to go to a Treaty with the UN to control our guns. Not that I like guns, particularly, but the Constitution is being obliterated, and it is our Constitution and our Sovereignty that is being trampled on.Same as with the back door amnesty, the refusal to defend the law of marriage being of one man,one woman, and it goes on and on.

Speak for your self.As for me,any Tea Party person wll be better than the Democrats have up for election.Rather than Obama ,would vote for a door post. Now the Democrats have some really smart people in office,my problem with them is that we differ in ideology.

Actually Members of Congress (that's both the House and Senate) pay FICA (social security) taxes and have since 1984. Prior to that they were covered under the Civil Service Retirement System.
And yes, you would have to amend the Constitution for Congressional term limits, just as the Constitution was amended for Presidential term limits (22nd Amendment, ratified in 1951)
Probably you have Googled the retirement pay,but the CSR System and SS# put together would not be what the Congressional retirement is. Try again. Can you know of any retirement that equals what they get? It rally is phenomenal.

I was simply correcting your misinformation that Members of Congress don't pay into the Social Security System. At least that's what I believe your contention was. It was kind of hard to tell from the jumbled mashup of run-on sentences. There's lots of misinformation out there, particularly on Fox, rightwing talk radio, and weird online sites like WorldNutDaily, regarding Congressional pay, retirement, benefits. Even if half of it were true--or half true--it would pale in comparison to the golden parachutes given corporate CEO's and other officers, even after they've run their respective companies into the ground.

Warning: It is very hard for you Repubs to use lies like this. While they may fool the weak minded such as the ones that believe if you lower taxes on the rich it creates jobs, the truth can too easily be found using Google.
Here are the EXACT words from the San Francisco Chronicle’s interview with Obama in 2008 where this lie began with the Repub propaganda machine. No where in the coal plant answer does Obama EVER use the word I. You lying POS Repubs.

Obama's statement came after being asked about NEW EPA rules that were ALREADY coming into effect.( RULES that GHW Bush had signed into law by the way)
.
"If someone wants to build a new coal-fired power plant they can, but it will bankrupt them because they will be charged a huge sum for all the greenhouse gas that's being emitted."

Whitehair; I found this on 'factcheck.org ' in regards to what you mentioned here. The administration says their open to negotiate a treaty to regulate the INTERNATIONAL EXPORT AND IMPORT of conventional arms. They will NOT be open to regulation of DOMESTIC TRANSFER OR OWNERSHIP of arms nor ANY TREATY THAT INFRINGES UPON THE 2CD AMENDMENT. That e-mail has been circulating for sometime, and I had even read somewhere that the author had taken it down because he had no proof, but it sounds like it might be making the rounds again.

Daily Horoscope for May 20

Taurus

If a friend has been bugging you recently, you are likely to have a few sharp words with them today. However, least said soonest mended, so don't labour the point or turn them against you. Besides, you have better things to do with your time now, such as taking part in a big gathering of likeminded people or having a long chat with one special person.
