So many people are wining about this dog park it unbelievable. We have tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, baseball/softball fields, ect.... All where people go to play. Nobody seems to be complaining about these parks. Our dog park is no different, and is just a place where people get together and play with their dogs. The real difference is that people love their dogs a lot more than their tennis rackets, basketballs, softballs, ect.
I agree totally, Lamar Fisher & co need to get their heads out of thier asses & all you goofy ppl posting lame posts need to grow up & let us serious people that want a dog park vent without mindless bullshit clogging up the topix... DOG PARK IN 2010 ...!!!

other than outback places like alabama, west virginia etc, florida is one of the dumbest places in the entire country. i used to be smart when i moved here. but, to communicate with these losers down here, you have to dumb it down so much, you lose intelligence over time. NO ONE in the entire state is the least bit intellectual. lawyers are brain dead, judges plain stupid, teachers mediocre, even the so called "learned" people are marginally literate. what a joke! i don't even know no big words no more because of this place.

this was so long ago but i don't care - you're obviously an idiot. it's a DOG PARK. if you don't want to be around dogs you can pick one of the other (EVERY SINGLE) other places that are specifically geared towards humans. dog's need exercise and there's a really limited amount of space for that in the case of most people. but you're obviously just stupid and have your head way too far up your ass to notice that. let's keep you locked up in a house all day every day with nothing to do and see how much fun you have!

You all need to just get over it! Its a dog park for dogs to play and run around not for you to enjoy yourself or talk on the phone don't we already do enough of that now. Lets let the dogs enjoy running and getting to know each other.

I can't believe someone who obviously doesn't own a dog would even bother writing on a comment page devoted to Dogs! I'm assuming Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh weren't airing at the time and he/she felt the need to denigrate and insult someone, this time a park designed for the enjoyment of a group that only aspires to spend time with their pets legally! One small 2 acre area of the vast city of Pompano being set aside for the enjoyment of Pets and their owners obviously doesn't sit well with this FOX TV viewer.
It is understandable why it is so difficult to promote open spaces that benefit the public when the most vocal groups opposing are brainwashed. It's obvious they will not allow any uses of the public domain unless it promotes their own views.
Why can't this person avoid driving through this area and leave the dogs alone. Its very Democratic to allow a little bit of Family Fun Time to exist without imposing restrictions. Pompano is a big city-a mere 2 acres should be inconsequential.

It may seem so, if, your dog 1- Should be in the tiny dog area. 2- Your dog is under a maturity level to exhibit doggy body language. 3-Scared doggies need to get more socialized as well. This cannot be done alone (how can a dog socialize without other dog cues?)

I say they make the entry part a "designated leashed, social area".
My belief is the majority of all those first posts was from the same bored, lonely, out of a job, comedian.

Daily Horoscope for February 13

Taurus

It's an important day to enlist the cooperation of your partner and loved ones. If you can sort out any differences then you can work together to achieve your goals. Don't try to put aside the concerns or objections of others, though. Take time to discuss important matters. The home is the heart of your partnerships and if you put in the effort there, you can enjoy the fruits of the labours of all your family.
