In a statement the Tourism Ministry yesterday said Francisco Javier Garcia visited the survivors in the hospital and confirmed that they are in good health, although dehydrated and with swollen legs.
The Tourism Ministry said one of the Dominicans in the hospital told Garcia that they watched as 22 of their companions died little by little and that they threw their bodies in the water.

We need to demand justice for this poor man! That cop ought to be put on suspension with no pay for what he did. Then sent to jail for murder.
