I think south florida have to many angry people, with life problems, they don't know how to solve them.

Where the police when you need them. I think since they allow people walk around with their guns, that why you will see alot of people getting kill.

when people have a angry problem they darn well don't need easy access to a fire arm.

They need to take the guns off the streets and these crazy people who don't care about people.

If you realize it, the ones that doing the killing is the young youth. We need more postive leader here to help guide these young youth. Everyone want to be a ganster.

If parents would take more responsibility for their children instead of video games...if there were less expensive after school activities that EVERYONE could afford for children, that would be a positive influence.

I have found that music lessons, tennis lesson, Sylvan learning center are so expensive, those are only things the wealthy can afford. We need affordable venues for the kids.

Also, it is not only in Miami or Florida. It is happening all over the United States. We just don't hear about it because we are either hearing about the presidential election, Iraq or problems in Miami.

Go to online newspapers and see the problems for yourself. It's happening all over.

Taking guns off the streets would be nice, but the only problem there is that is one of our rights of the consittution...to bear arms. Now how the arms are beared is a different story.

Not everyone wants to be a gangster. My 13 year old son has been picked on kids forever. What has he done? He has turned to a more mature crowd in college that has taken him under their wing. They are guiding him towards studying, self-confidence and self-esteem. They hang out with him, They are like his big brothers, all 10 of them.

Another important thing is support from the parents. My husband and I are always asking our son about his day, what he did, where he's going, how he's feeling about things. He has even confided in us us about weird things physically happening to him. Talk about trust. That is what is needed most.

COMMUNICATION AND TRUST is the key. But parents don't make time. Sad. Even if it is one hour a day with your child, that makes all the difference in teh world.

All I can say is that the man responsible for this must go down! Hopefully justice will be served. He didn't just shoot, but he killed two 24 year old boys... There life was just beginning! They were someone's son, brother, best friend etc... The person that shot them didn't just kill Jason and Roly, but he has totally destroyed and scarred there families and friends forever. What kind of savage, in-humane, animal would shoot two innocent 24 year olds over a girl. People like that have no heart and should get life in prison. That is not a man, that person is a coward! If he didn't like that they spoke to "the girl" handle it like a civilized human being, not like a cold blooded killer! That is man slaughter. I personally would like to look straight into the eyes of that sad excuse of a man, and have him see my broken heart, my grief and my pain for taking my best friend away from me forever.... I wonder does this psycho know how it feels to never be able to here your best friends voice again, or have him hold you in his arms if you've has a bad day, or just simply have a silly time together that all you do is laugh for hours? Well if he has, I want him to know he has permanently taken that away from all of us.
R.I.P. Roly & Jason - You will remain in my heart forever. I'll never stop missing you...

I knew Roly and he was nothing but a punk. He suffered from "short-man syndrome" and wanted to fight anything that crossed his path. Jason I didn't know as well, but the world will be better off without Roly. Karma is a b!tch.

I think its ignorant and naive to say crime is limited to South Florida. Fort Luaderdale and the rest the the state has just as many horror stories. Like the couple murdered on South Beach by men visiting from Orlando and the school shootings in quiet college towns or even in the amish school shooting. Hello people big city more crime, more people more crime. you want to stop issues like this control gun sales and arms like Canada does. Do something or stop talking crap and hot air or pointing fingers. Its these people that talk and do nothing which allows the progression of our societies decay.
