Idaho Lottery Commissioners support Ruby Ridge butcher Larry Potts by awarding contract.
Idaho Lottery Commissioners approved a two-year contract with Scientific Games Corporation as the main seller to supply instant tickets and other services for the lottery in July 2007.
"Working with Scientific Games provides us the ability to continue our tradition of offering high quality instant tickets in a secure fashion at an affordable cost," said Jeff Anderson, Idaho Lottery Director.
Larry A Potts former FBI special agent and holder of the Bureau’s number two position, was hired by Scientific Games Corporation in September 2004. During his career with the FBI, Larry Potts issued the orders (as shown by federal documents) to snipers at Ruby Ridge near Riggins, Idaho in 1992 to shoot on site. As a result 14 year old Sammy Weaver was shot dead in the back, and Randy Weaver’s wife was shot in the head by a sniper as she was standing in the doorway of her home holding her baby in her arms. The FBI snipers had not yet announced their presence and had not given the Weavers an opportunity to peacefully surrender. The federal government settled out of court in 1995, paying the Weaver family $3.1 million.
Larry A Potts was also in charge of the Oklahoma City Bombing investigation and the assault of the Davidian compound in Waco, Texas.
