East Brewton Police Abuse

I think he has really helped our community around here. There is no telling what all was done to provoke the police officers.

I wish the ABI or whatever would inspect the East Brewton Police Dept and the Chief! Something really needs to be done over there.

the escambia county and east brewton and brewton also abused me when i was in there custody too and harrassed me almost every time i was away from my home walking or riding and i was also beaten so badly as it resulted in me going to the hospital and had to have surgery not only once butt now i have to have surgery again and i would love it iff saomeone could do something about all the corruption in the town of brewton the police are ojn such a power trip that noone will ever see unless there on the inside or have had to deal with them they do not protect all they do is serve you with false arests and acusations and you are not inocent untill proven guilty you are guilty untill proven inocent that is my beleiff thanx

I'm from Brewton. I've been around law enforcement for 20 years now. I've grown up in the Brewton Police Dept. They HAD very few corrupt officers before the new chief came in but they didn't have many of them, maybe 1 at the most. The officers they have now are the best they've ever had. These guys are the Best of the Best.

I've also worked for Escambia Co. and I know for a fact that they will not abuse you unless you pose a threat to them or act stupid. Whoever "secret" is, you're a big pile of lying crap. Maybe if you would stop doing your drug deals and acting like an idiot, you would have never seen East Brewton, Brewton or Escambia Co. jail/police. I know Brewton and Escambia Co. do not abuse people unless you do not comply or you pose a threat.

Brewton has been getting cleaned up from drugs and things of that such. They have new officers, new, better equipment and implimented a "SWAT" style team to deal with the rising problems in Brewton. Brewton has been a safe town to raise a family in and those officers will die to make sure it remains like that. When I graduate from the academy, I'll do the same. My advice for you sir, is quit while you're ahead. In order to see all of the departments at one time or another, you'd have to do something pretty stupid like drug charges.

I grew up in Brewton and my sister worked for the brewton sherffs dpt and I know that you would have done somthing very bad to recieve brut force .

Having worked for 28 years,in the medical field, with Members of Law enforment and the jails, I have seen first hand that they are of the finest caliber. It takes a lot for men and women to put themselves in harms way for their community, and these folks do it everyday.I can assure you, its not for just the money ! God bless them all !
I saw first hand, that the ones who would gripe the most about police brutality,deserved it, and were not the most upstanding, innocent folks,certainly not someone you would invite into your home by any means.The police have too bloody much to do with every day happenings, and the paper work involved to be "brutal"... unless forced by the person's own actions.And then the "brutality" is only to do their job and protect others..including the person being arrested.
I love these guys and girls.... unless they are writing me a ticket,of course....Then I gripe like everyone else.:0)

I live in East Brewton and the police department is one of the finest that I have ever seen. If you don'T WANT TO BE IN THE JAIL OR DEAL WITH OUR OFFICERS DON'T DO THE CRIME.Then everything would be fine,

Your all blind. I have never been arrested. But I know these police in both towns are crap. They never do anything but eat donuts, they don't want to listen. They just get off having a gun. they are freaks. Too many kids my age (21) getting to become cops and not enough Elders around to kick their ass and put them back in there place! I know someone who hit a person while driving a car on crack and they didn't go to jail but a weekend!!! and got to come home for dinner, cause he was "a good prisoner" bullshit. thats what Brewton and the Brewton area is.
