Welfare recipients to get $ for kids christmas gifts

I work full time and take care of three kids, One w/ ADHD. I will NOT send my kids to sleep hungry! Yes, I get foodstamps, and I DONT SIT ON MY ASS ALL DAY! I dont care what I have to do to see a smile on my kids face! If I have to beg for them, I will. I can go humgry, not them. Soooo, instead of complaining about foodstamps, be glad that this country CARES! Try visiting south america where there are no child labor laws and kids have to work instead of going to school.
And for those of you who dont know about welfare, you CANNOT just sit on your ass, in order to get assistance, you must be working or going to school UNLESS you have a medical exemption which must be obtain by a licensed doctor. So, if you are working, go apply, you might get some foodstamps TO HELP with the food!

wow you guys all get worked up over nothing...I will laugh when this does not come through and all you people will know how everyone feels about you just because you get food stamps or medical help this is ridiculous I am so proud the be born and raised in NY now I know why people run from this state. I know I did....evil evil evil

and as for people sittin around collecting a check the only ones I know that do that are people on SSI or SSD you guys don't seem to care about that. when you get public assistance you have meetings and job hunting you do not just sit at home.

I just googled it because my bff and i were talking about how nice it would be . Thats when i came across this site. We both got the school money and we said it would be nice it they did the same for christmas. I had no idea about this rumor. I tried to find another place that stated it and i cant find one.
