Why is ALEX LONG not in prision for MURDER??

Son of the owners of The Iron Gate.
Alex Long was married to a young woman Ali Kurnutt.
He has stood trial but it was dismissed because his father knows the judge. Ali was accepted to State Police academy and wanted a divorce from Alex because he was very angry and hooked on Oxycontin among other drugs. In a wiskey and pill rage he called his cousin Alan Long (even met him) to say he was getting ready to KILL Ali. She was Dead just a few hours later. He called 911 and said she hung herself. The autopsy report came back that it was a PHONE CORD and not the rope found at the secene. The window was broked from the inside.
Alex has gotten by for now. Alan wont testify against him. They continue to use drugs together and fight with people. This makes me ill.
Karma will get you Alex.... it always does...I'll see to it that you pay.

This is pretty strong aqcusations!If U think U have a case gather all the information and take it to an out of state lawyer and pursue your fight to avenge the death. Everyone in our town has heard this story and most believe it. Sorry for your loss. It must be hard to live everyday...

Went to school and even college with Alex so I truly know him.
I believe with all of my heart that this is VERY TRUE. Ive seen this guy be violent and strung out for years. His demeanor is pure evil. I know justice will be served. Im sorry for your loss.

From what I understand the No One in Mason County goes against what the Judge's or what the Prosecutor wants done say/do.
Mason County Judicial System seems to be in its own world with its own laws. Guilty or Not Guilty is not based on evidence its based on what they say.
That is not the way the Judicial System works.
There is a Judge that conducts himself unprofessionally in the courtroom and draws unbelievable conclusions for his ruling.
The prosecutor in Mason County is by far the worse at being unprofessional and lacks several skills at preforming his job duties.
As soon as the courtroom is called to order
regardless of who is on trial anyone can tell if that person is going to be Guilty of Not Guilty by the body language & comments being made.
A complaint is being processed,not for anything to benefit myself but to have these people investigated & eventually removed from authority.

I've always believed Alex was Guilty also!

I know Alex is GUILTY AS WELL!!!Her Sister is a VERY GOOD FRIEND of MINE..He went to her sisters house at 2:30 on the day she died and was looking for Ali and said he was goin to kill her when he found her and I know this because Ali was there the day before she died and got money from from her sister to leave town because Ali was afraid of Alex, because she was afraid he was gonna to kill her, Ali was gonna go into hiding, but she had to wait until a time when she thought Alex wasn't going to be there to get her stuff from the apartment and her car was loaded with her stuff and from this point on thats all I can say do to on going investigation...Her Family grieves everyday...

I also believe that Alex is guilty. Unfortunately, there is no way of getting around the Prosecuting attorney, he has to be willing to step down and allow a special prosecutor to prosecute the case. My question is why won't he step aside and allow this to happen?

To TPX reader, Alex has never stood trial for the death of Ali. He has been in court a few times for other things to do with this case,(can't say exactly what because it is still an open case) He he has never been indicted to stand trial, the case somehow never ends up on the docket during the time that the court system decides which cases they are going to indict. Unfortunately, this has never happened. Believe me her family grieves everyday and will never be the same, she was so loved by everyone who knew her. She was intelligent, sweet, beautiful, and never had anything "bad" to say about anyone, she always tried to find the beauty in everyone. She was such a wonderful person beautiful inside and out. I miss her soooo much. Her smile could light up a room and she was a true friend. Thanks to all of you who are posting, she doesn't need to be forgotten. My prayers go out to her family since this happened Thanksgiving week and I am sure this is a hard time for them. God Bless her family and may the Lord carry them through the hard times.

I am praying for her family. I didn't know Ali but I know Alex and what he is capable of. I don't understand how the crappy so called procecuter can not let justice be served! Doesn't he feel bad for this girl's family!!?? I hope and pray this will come to trial and Alex Long will be put away for life!!

To Tpxreader, thank you for starting this discussion. It has been way too long that this terrible tragedy has just been swept under the rug. I believe you have strong convictions and if you know something, no matter how small you think it is, don't you believe you owe it to Ali and her family to go to the state police? Please don't stop posting, this country was aupposed to be founded on TRUTH, and JUSTICE. I see a lot of laws but not much justice...Ali was a wonderful person with more potential in her little finger than Alex has in his whole body. Its too bad "her candle burned out long before her legend ever did..."

Alex Long must be convicted of this murder! If only we had a REAL legal system in Pt. Pleasant, and not these uneducated, lazy, creeps who think they are "bigshots" because they are attorneys.
I'm not impressed! Anyone can practice law in fu*#ing Point Pleasant!
Alex Your time is coming!!!! You may have gotten away for a little while, but I'm NOT going to be quiet until you are sentenced!!!
