Don't like it Wal Mart is right across the river. Sometimes those workers get tired of dealing with rude ass customers who always bitch or want them to do their shopping for them!

That one meat guy is always rude and drunk. I smell vodika on him everytime im in there. I belive they call him otis

I walked up to a check out line and a young girl, running the register was reading a magazine. As I placed my items on the belt she sucked her teeth rolled her eyes, acted like I was scum of the Earth and threw her magazine down. If I had not been short on time and extremely tired I would have left my stuff and went "across" the river. If these young people do not want to work at a public establishment nobody is standing there holding a gun to their head forcing them to work!! Quit your job if you are so miserable but don't bite the hand that feeds you, and provides your darn paycheck. Get real!! The young people these days are just SO SO SO lazy!!

Foodland pissed me off n gallipolis. I am from gallipolis and now live n Middleport. I went to write a check at gallipolis store and they would not take. Seems like people n Middleport r not good enough to spend money so I will never shop there again. I also told my family and friends

He has passed away. He was a good man. I hope you feel better about yourself talking about him.

I worked there for 3 years and that was enough for me. People are rude and have no respect for others. I wasnt your slave! But here is my view on these issues.

Working at a supermarket is hard work. Your back and feet hurt and swell up. You deal with rude people all day.

If a cashier done that to you march right up the the office and tell somebody. The thing about Foodland is they hire young people. Many peoples first job was Foodland. When I worked in the office I didn't have time to babysit them and see if they were reading magazines or rolling there eyes. These kids have to be taught. Getting on here and B!tching about it is doing nothing.

About the checks....do you realize how many bad checks roll through that place? Do you also realize that may depend on Christmas bonuses? We work HARD during the holiday season and that bonus depends on how we done that year. As an office clerk I had denied a lot of checks because I didn't want to take money away from our hard workers! Would you? I'm sorry for the embarrassment it may have caused you.

If you have never worked in a supermarket you wouldn't understand. Not making excuses because I have seen many things that people shouldn't have done. But nobody's perfect!

Ive never had a rude cashier at Foodland. They have always been friendly to me.

The workers don't bother me, its the prices. Foodland jacksup their prices so high because of all the foodstamp people that shop there, so the rest of us have to spend our hard earned money and pay the price.

I wouldn't accept checks at all, cash, debit, or credit. Too many check bouncers out there, it's a shame, but it's a fact.

I am soooooo mad I cant see strait. I walked in there at Fodland last month and there was a girl cashier and she lookd at me like she was miss Qeen of the Nile or something and I askd her what was wrong and she done said mind you own busness old hag. Well I got mad and marchd up to one of them at the mangers booth and told them and they done said I was lyin so I realy got mad then and told them not me or my famly wood ever ever never shop there again and one of the mangers said lah de dah and did a silly dance rite in front of everbody. Well all the cashiers and costomers started laffing at me and so I thot Id show him and started dansing my self but I fell and broke my rite knee in three places. And I had it on vid tape too. but the lawyer just grined and said it was my own falt and then he started dancing. Boy Ill probly never shop there agin unless they have some relly good prices.

Otis is not dead, you are thinking about Odie. Otis is a meat cutter not a worker upfront like Odie was. So I don't think he feels bad since he is still alive.
