I noticed we have a new business in town called The Chef House. I was just wondering if anyone who has eaten there can give a review on food and pricing. Is it a walk in type place, or does it just cater special affairs? It looks beautiful from the outside!

I do believe that Brad Deal is the one who opened that business. I have not ate there but I love Brad to death and I am sure the food is good he was a good cook in school.

Thanks for the info trashtalker. It's nice to find different places to eat. It gets old eating at the same places all the time.

It's not a restaurant...He is a caterer, and runs his business out of there. You can also rent it for events.

I was wondering if maybe that is what that place is. Looks really nice. I love Dave and Donna, but dont know him. I do hope he has gotten a little better at estimating how much food to fix though, because I was at a dinner he catered where he ran out of food,& about 1/4 of the people who had paid didn't get any dinner. I realize he is young though. I hope he does well.

Your experience kind of shocks me, because I've been to several of his events and used him for a couple and it's always been perfect...Maybe that was when he was first getting started?
The inside is GORGEOUS...He has worked very hard on it, and it shows. He maintained the "old charm" of the house...I absolutely LOVE it. I would recommend him to everyone, and recommend the venue to anyone needing to host a dinner, shower, etc.
You should stop in sometime and check it out...He'd be more than happy to show you around, I'm sure!=)

Who done the renovactions? My cousin needs help with an old farmhouse that she just bought. Nothing major, just some painting and new toliets, sinks and the hardwood floors need to be brought back to their glory.

I'm really not sure...I know that he had the Amish build a couple of doors to match the originals. I'm sure he'd be happy to tell you!
