i have never heard so much crap about open carry and what the police are doing or not doing well here is what i think;
if a person walk down the street with a gun on their hip they are not breaking any law BUT IT IS HOW YOU ACT I ACT THE SAME WITH MY GUN AS I DO WITH OUT IT I SAY HI TO THE PEOPLE THAT I KNOW AND SMILE AT THE ONES I DON'T KNOW it is how you act that sets of most people if you act funny it makes people feel uneasy cops and all people if you just go about your business most of the time everything will be ok and if i was a cop and saw a person with a gun and they act ok i would do nothing because the person that is going to kill you or rob you will not be carrying a gun on their side cops need probable cause to stop you and that is not it NOW SOME COPS WILL ACT LIKE A ASSHOLE BECAUSE IF YOU HAVE A GUN IT PISSED THEM OFF BECAUSE THEY LIKE TO THINK THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES ALLOWED TO DO THAT THEM COPS ARE NO GOOD TO START WITH i say this because i was with the MILITARY police in IRAQ AND I HAVE LOOK DOWN THE WRONG END OF A GUN MANY TIMES BUT I STILL SAY THE PERSON NOT TRYING TO HIDE A WEAPON IS OK BY ME 99 PER CENT OF THE TIME but if it comes to confronting a cop do what they say because you will not win on the street go to court as for shooting cops if i wanted to do that and there was 2 or 3 cops they would be dead they would never know what hit them
because they don't have what it takes they walk up hand on gun handle talking crap most cops don't know what to do to start with so with saying all that i will say so long. and by the way guns don't kill people. people kill people.
I laugh at the "badass" military in here posting "oh you think you can kick my teeth in? Try it I'm military!" And now it's "I can shoot them before they knew what hit them because they're assholes cause I'm a badass!" The actual police officers that were in the military believe people who act like you are just pieces of shit who went into boot camo and got trained to be a trained piece of shit, or just a bigger wannabe badass. You talk about officers having attitudes, but yet you each think you are so much better because you are military. News flash dumbasses, most law enforcement are prior military!! Especially in WV! You are complaining about personalities that you have yourselves. Maybe it's your own military trained officers that you are complaining about. My honest opinion, I think you're both whiney babies who cry if you're stopped, but complain when the police aren't there to stop someone else who YOU think they should. It's the one you don't expect that will kill you, which you two have not learned. Too brainwashed in profiling and depending on mostly that. That is why you are not police officers, and the police do what they do. So stick to the military and let the police do their jobs. Military and police play by different laws.

<quoted text>You have heard of the 4th amendment? Just because court pass and make laws do not make them constitutional. The patriot act, NDAA , the actions taken by TSA are unconstitutional. This Ron Paul supporter and veteran took an oath to uphold and protect that constitution. It's a shame our country's law enforcement thinks they are above it. The liberal courts are pushing for a police state. Remember, your family can and will be treated the same way and as I shown with your help, you don't have to be doing anything wrong.
4th amendment is fine but do as officer says and it will be safe fine an one minute of your time. Like you trying to argue this situation it will get you hurt while armed. You teach hand to hand you should know use of force. Passive aggressive verbal aggression then physical aggression. Law has the right to one step above yours to controll the situation at hand. Don't like it stay Ems law enforcement is to much for ya

Just cause someone is military don't give you the right to come back from the states because of what u did or did not do and act like your an idiot. Although we do appreciate you serving there but police officers serve here in wv every day for their entire career. So don't tell me you once did this or that , that it gives you special treatment or beliefs.

My family listens when ordered to do something. Things work so much easier that way. Your constitution saved you from being arrested for the weapon. Thank these criminals for the way the laws are set up. They are like that for a reason whether you agree or disagree. Just because you may be a law abiding citizen does not mean others with guns are. So why is an officer going to risk his life assuming someone is a good citizen, then possibly be wrong and get shot by that subject? The officer did right by not taking that risk. You just don't like it cause you think you're above everyone else.
Stick to the states you supposedly train and cry about your rights there. That officer was doing his job by possibly preventing a serious crime. He needs a pat on the back and a handshake. You still need a kick in the teeth for not comprehending the seriousness of what could have been. Get over yourself, you are no one special or better than the next person. Stick to the states you "train", screw those officers up, not ours, thanks!
So.... guilty until proven innocent and harass law abiding people who are doing nothing wrong?? That is what has been going on and police are losing the support and respect of the people. This isn't Iraq or Afghanistan.

You guys are tempting fate. Play by the rules or die. I carry concealed, and am not 100% sure of not being able to open carry open because I possess a CCW permit. Either way, should I carry open and be confronted by law enforcement over my weapon. You can bet the farm I will comply and not give them any reason to act like assholes about the situation at hand. There could have been a crime just committed with the suspect matching your description. Who knows. But all your doing is making it worse by not complying. I would rather do as they say and live to enjoy my rights than be 6ft below the sod because I thought I was above the law. You say you train officers, I would imagine you'd know better.Tsk,Tsk.

. To much for me? care boy, your ego is all puffed up again. You do not have the right whitout reason. You guys take that as for as you can because your never challenged. More and more people are learning what their right are since barry is putting all the necessary pieces in place for martial law. A lot more people requesting defensive and offensive classes. People are hiding guns and ammo. Shit hits the fan you can be heros or if you've lost the respect of the people your supposed protect bad thing could happen. I want the police around, I will work right beside them if the act right. You know you don't need to pull a gun on a suspect if you are within 22 feet. I used to train men from 40 feet all the way down to 4 feet

Wow I know for a fact you don't train law enforcement now. 22 feet? Someone with a knife can kill you within 21 feet before you can draw your weapon fully out. You sound more like a sovereign citizen.

well one thing for sure not many on here know what they are talking about like that lol and john 1 these people have never did nothing or been any where because if you think the police in point pleasant WV are good at their job you could not know nothing about the world outside of your town or your little mind you people would be the first to go if things went bad i dam sure would not want you around me in a tight spot as for coming back to the states and act like a asshole that's what you half to do because that is all that assholes understand i don;t think you people could turn me over if i was dead and i bet you all are why the cops act like they do to reg people they think all are like you all. you people need to be put out on the msr in iraq ruining convoy escort at 2 am and get hit and about 8 vehicles get took out and your buddy up in front get hit with a ied and some rpgs and people laying all over the road yes that's what you all need and i bet you would have a better understanding then you do now, so don;t talk the talk or try to walk the walk if you have not been there and done it. be it in the states or middle east it is all the same at some point and time so don't say shit if you do not know what you are talking about!!!

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Pisces

It's a great day for fixing anything that needs attention now. That might be a dripping tap, a sick child, an unpaid bill or a miffed partner. However, you'll do particularly well if you need to sort out something connected with official or joint finances or red tape. You might be asked to help someone deal with a bureaucratic problem, especially if they're elderly.
