Jim the plumber is a very professional plumber.
Don't listen to B-AI. He's been doing his job longer than most, he knows his shit.

I'm not ashamed to put my name here. I met Jim the Irish Plumber when I worked at a local restaurant. He is opinionated -- I loved to talk to him then and still do. I've never heard him say anything racist. He does not tolerate fools gladly, though.

Jim came to our house for a job we had been quoted $3,000 for. He did the job for $600 and told us how to do and save money on the cosmetic work.

Another time, we called him with a problem with our hot water heater. He told us what to do and didn't charge a dime.

Since then, we have recommended him. Every one I know that has used him has been more than satisfied. He is definitely from another generation -- he's not a franchise, and he doesn't have a huge yellow pages ad -- but he charges less than the Rooter guys and does more.

One more thing: the reason he may have trouble showing up is that Jim the Irish Plumber is in demand. His schedule has to accommodate emergencies, and he doesn't have a thousand subcontractors to send out like the franchises.

Anyway, a thousand stars to Jim the Irish Plumber!

I cannot believe that someone could write such a hateful review. This guy is the most honest and knowledgeable plumber I have ever dealt with.

My husband was away deer hunting for a week. Jim came out and snaked all my pipes. Everything is working perfect now. I plan on haveing him come out at least once a year just to keep things running tip top.

I have used this guy seven or eight times in Livonia. He knows what he is doing and gets the job done fast and right. He is very reasonable and honest. His son is a plumber as well and takes some of Jimmie's calls. He is just as good. This yahoo who called him a racist probably never had work done by him.
