Three charged in fight on Lebanon street

So cool, let's be in a gang, and destroy the neighborhoods and cause hell for other people's lives. All because gang members are too damn lazy to work to earn an honest day's wage. They would rather sell drugs and steal from people who do work and value their personal items.
Kick their asses out of school- I do NOT want my tax money funding an education for a gang member or a drug dealer. It's not like they are going to use their education. It's usually not long before these wanna be thugs are either killed on the street or locked up, and in my opinion that's a wasted education.
As for all the bleeding hearts, save it. The kids know right from wrong. Everyone knows that eventually the ends for that person is either death or in jail.
Kick all the thugs out of school, or suspected thugs and drug dealers. Use that money that would have went towards their FREE education to get better programs into the local schools for the kids that appreciate what is given to them.
Society is going to hell and fast. The consequences people face for breaking the laws are a joke. Jail for most of these people is the same as living in society. Food stamps = 3 meals a day in jail. Section 8 = a bed and a roof in jail. LIHEAP = having a warm cell. Plus all your "homies" and fam either in jail or out of jail, you will be with some of them. Oh, and let's not forget free health care.
I used to be proud of this town that I grew up in, and my parents & grandparents were raised in.

Paying 1.6 percent more in school taxes for these idiots makes a lot of sense.

Is it any wonder why downtown Lebanon looks like a slum or a ghost town. Fill up city blocks with thugs and bums, and that's what you have. Clean out the drug trade, the slugs that slither in from NYC and the rest of the trash, and perhaps... PERHAPS... decent people will return.

In order to charge any of the parents, you would have to drag them out of Woofer MaGoo's Drug Emporium.

Looks like the trash spilled out on the streets again.

This type of problem is a community problem and not just a problem for the police. People drive through town or look out their home windows see something and shake their heads and keep going on with their everyday lives. Then they go on here and complain that the police dont do anything. The police cant do it alone there is only less than 4 dozen of them and 25,000 of us. If people would document what they see, when they see it, and if they recognize who is doing it, or give a good description of who is doing it, then the police have something to go by and can start focusing on the problems. The police know about the problems but they dont see them all the time. WE ARE THE EYES AND EARS OF THE POLICE.
Start to pressure the City to crack down on the slum lords and to not rent to anyone who has the security deposit and 1st months rent. If they start to do background or credit checks on these people then there is no reason why these people should be here. They are here because housing is easy to get and is cheap. You take that away and the problems go away.

When someone finally decides to tax everyone fairly, based on their income level and not property, this will stop. Currently, most of these renting idiots own no property, pay little or no taxes and receive subsidies for food and housing. This allows their job incomes go toward buying high-priced goods like cell phones, cigarettes, gas-guzzler cars, steak and beer and fancy clothing while the rest of us struggle. Meanwhile, we homeowners get no relief and pay for their expenses as well as our own. It's time we institute a law mandating a license to have children based on income affordability. The more unsubsidized income you have, the more children you can afford to care for and thus are allowed to create. When we taxpayers have to subsidize children who are nothing more than a meal ticket, then it's time to take action. Desperate times call for desperate measures. Everyone has the right to earn and pay for their own way in life, but when I have to pay for someone else's decisions, then they forfeit certain rights. That's the way I see it.
