LOL. Half the streets in this town are like that, especially after this last winter. Too bad he wasn't coming next year, they could take him up chestnut street and let him see the run down buildings and properties leading up to the $200,000 park with its $30,000 clock. That would really impress him I bet. |

Are you KIDDING!?!? I have to keep pinching myself! I plan on being there with bells on. My late mother loved "Bubba" so much, she got signed photo of him framed professionally! If I get to shake his hand (better yet, HUG HIM!) it will be for my mother.

I just checked the Megan's Law website and Bubba is not on it so you should be ok ,but be careful with those hugs because that is where Monica got her start. |

Since Bill is going be be at the Lewistown High School, They should be able to scoot him in here on the outer fringe of Lewistown and get him on his way on 322W toward State College.

Eight of us drove an hour and a half and waited in the packed gym for an hour before President Clinton began one of the most incredible speeches I have ever heard. No empty promises. No BS. This was a list of what needs to be done to help America get back on its feet along with the plans to make it happen.
For the first time in this primary run-off, I had a chance to listen without someone (media) telling me what I heard. The folks of the Lewistown area listened and cheered. What terrific people!!!! I am so glad I had the chance to be there. |

I didn't know where to post this coment so I'll post it here. I was just wondering, why isn't more people voting on Matt Shaner's web to stop I-80 from being a toll road? If you don't vote or sign his petition and this goes through you have no right to complain when you're paying the toll some day! I know for my husband and I we pay enough!! already!!

1 What they got was a loss of 40,000 jobs. It nice to promise bull, get elected and re-elected and now move without doing anything for New York State. |

Why won't the Democratic Party send Hilary here to campeign instead of her husband and daughter? Oh, I would also like to know why the Moron County Police Dept. were acting like morons driving around the high school like maniacs? Us taxpayers pay for their gas, tires and all repairs to their vehicles! They DO NOT need to be acting like the A**H*LES they are!
Anyone for President but Clinton and McCain! Legalize marijuana for a greener tomorrow! |

It doesn't matter which one of them wins, McCain will beat either, then we have another 4 years of the same stuff, Higher Gas prices, higher food cost, and higher everything, we are doomed, it can't get better with these high prices , families are running out of people in the family to work . Remember the good ole days when the man of the family could work and make a living for his family. Now we have the man and his wife working and still can't keep up. Are we going to make laws where the kids can't leave home and have to work to support the household? |

Can't help but laugh as I read over these. Guess it shows the capabilities of the Mifflin County Shool District to teach people to look at the big picture and stop and think.

Well that's about as vague of a statement as I've ever read. |

Well one needs to stop and think for a minute. The facts that is! First lets talk about the Clinton's. How many scandals were there when they were in office? Fact the man was IMPEACHED! Becuase he was a liar. He is also the one that opened up all this free trade cuasing us to lose lots of tax dollars. And quality jobs. The effect: Yes we pay more for taxes to make up the differance! Thenn there is the forign poeple doing our jobs. What does it take to do those jobs? Energy. So how much oil that used to come to this country is now going to other countries for energy? Has alot to do with higher prices at the pump! These are examples of things that we the people will not feel the effects of for years after they get signed. And what was that thing when the clintons let office about taking things out of the white house. That was being a theif. The things in the white house belong to you and me!
Then we have Obama. Can anyone show me one hard fact that he is a great man, smart, honest, and worthy of my vote? Nobody has yet! Then we have McCain. The public records on his politics speak for them self. Not a great choice. Conclusion: No worthy canaditate. Although have been trying to figure out. What is so important to Clinton and Obama that they need to spend millions on a campain that the job only pays $200,000.00? Seems too me that they want it cause they have something up there sleeve that benifits them! Not you and me! |

The US President makes $400,000/ year now including a $50,000 expense allowance. They got a raise in 2001. Check their tax returns, that is not all they make . |

Boy I wish I was in Lewistown when a former President of the United States was there!!!! You're so lucky! The other towns just got a potential candidate but Lewistown got a visit from a PRESIDENT! How cool was it? Who got to meet him? Did anyone record his speech? Was Bill Clinton the first President to ever visit Lewistown?
