With heavy heart it is true that Dennis is no longer with us. Not sure on the details, but he will be greatly missed.

It was a suicide. There is a memorial at Denim's from 6 to 10 on Thursday & services on Saturday in Gladstone.

I am a friend of the family. I dated Melissa Lane, Dennis' daughter. I heard of this news yesterday from a friend. They had told me how they had heard Dennis had committed suicide. Since I hadn't heard anything from the family at all (I haven't seen nor spoken to them too much since Melissa died), I sent a text message to a family member. In return I received a reply stating how he had not committed suicide but there is an ongoing investigation. They went onto tell me they would let me know more as they find out. RIP Dennis...

I guess you really didn't know him. He was a player and treated women like crap. How respectful is that?

I must agree with "honest". He was truely a horrible human being that had alot of suckers snowed to make him money. There is a special place in Hell for him.

Let him who hath no sin be the first to cast the first stone.... This is not really the time to judge someone... The family is hurting and needs there time to miss there love ones. So maybe grow a pair and keep the childish remarks to yourself!

I guess we did not know the same man. The man I knew about loved his friends and family completely. He gave much more than he ever received. He bent over backwards to help financially and listened often. Alot can be said about a person by the number of friends they have - he had many. His real friends - they know who they are will feel the loss of this wonderful man forever - they are the lucky ones.

x-partaid?? Don't you mean ex parte. Instead of obtaining details on the deceased personal issues you might check into a class on grammer and spelling.

Why don't you stop all the rumors, or at least check your facts. bebop wrote: From what i here ther was a legal thing going on between him and his wife, she had him x-partaid from the bar and she had control of it, he was about to get it back from her, dont know all the details

Dennis was a good person and a great man. I have not seen him in several years but he always had a smile on his face and never forgot a face. I have many fond memories of D&D and River Aces with Dennis. I hope the truth about what happened to him will come to light and he will get the justice he deserves. He does not seem like the type of man to commit suicide. God Bless him and his family and may he rest in peace. We will all miss you smiling face Dennis!
