Police from the city of Bryan arrested a 52-year-old minister from Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano on charges of online solicitation of a minor.

What is WRONG with these men? To be a preacher and to do that is even worse. Hadn't this sphincter ever heard of To Catch A Predator? I bet he used all the standard excuses when he was caught just like the pervs on that show. A minister! Like they say, going to church doesn't make you any more of a Christian than parking in a garage makes you a car.

I LOVE IT! A preacher from Prestowood (right-wing, evangelist, conservative) Baptist Church is a pervert. If this guy is a minister at PB, then I already know he's made a career at telling certain others how wrong their lifestyles are. I personally believe marijuana and prostitution should be legal. I could also care less if gays are aloud to marry. Having said all that, I will never, EVER seek the company of 13 year old girls! Now who's got screwed values, uh......apparently NOT ME! What a pathetic excuse for a human, my heart goes out to his family. |

I know Mr. Barron and I'm so shock to hear this. He always gave my 8 year a hug and tell her what a beautiful girl she is. We at the church are so divided and I wonder how this would affect us as a whole. I can't beleive this however the signs were there. He was very touchy and friendly with the girls. Some girls however would not speak up and tell him to stop holding them so close. Especially when he would stand behind them and play the touch shoudler and hide game.

The thing is that this guy is not a Christian. He is a pedifile who has found a way to be around children. Its like the Catholic Preists, they don't really want to be preists they just use it as a way to have axcess to children. People want to call Christians hypocrites because of things like this but the truth is he used Christianity as a way to get to children.
This man and others like him are nastey and will do what it takes to get what they want. It is certainly not the churches fault. He is going to answer for the things he has done and I'm sure there is a special place for him and those like him. I don't think these types are able to be rehabilitated so we might as well send him to answer for what he has done right about now.

Such a good excuse..."Not a Christian" or "didn't believe hard enough". It's not the church's fault...please. The church will use these excuses to support it's hypocracy. The only thing the "church" is interested in is how much money can we stuff into the collection plate. These leaders are nothing more than holy con artist. So why are we surprised when these con artist get busted doing something so dastardly as going to have sex with a minor? Look at what they justify in the name of the church in El Dorado. Why should he be any different? Follow the 7 deadly sins and it'll lead you straight to the pulpit and pews. |
