Vickie Wright Phillips Roach

For those who knew Vickie but didn't know she passed....

Vickie Roach, nee Wright, 69, of Marissa, Ill., born Aug. 23, 1939, in Bickenll, Ind., passed away peacefully with her family at her side on Saturday, June 13, 2009, at the Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, Ill.
Vickie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. Vickie will be remembered for her smile and sense of humor. She could light up any dark room. She loved to play bingo and was an avid Cardinals fan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Catherine, nee Brothers, Wright; a sister, Elizabeth Ann Robbins; mother and father-in-law, Viola and Arlie Roach; brother-in-law, Ronnie Stanczak; and sister-in-law, Judy Roach.
Surviving are her loving husband of 43 years, Leonard "Buck" Roach, whom she married on Oct. 23, 1965; a son, Richard "Rick" Roach of Marissa, Ill.; two daughters, Cathy (Paul) Light of Marissa, Ill.; and Mindy (Stan) Ruckman of Freeburg, Ill.; two grandchildren, David E. Ruckman of Freeburg, Ill., and Jean Paul Light of Marissa, Ill.; a sister, Alda (Tom) Burke of Roswell, N.M.; two brothers, Richard (Bonnie) Wright of Manitowoc, Wis., and Jeff (Carrie) Wright of Bicknell, Ind.; brothers-in-law, Ronald (Linda) Roach, Roger Roach and Mike Roach, all of Indiana; a sister-in-law, Brenda Stanczak of Indiana; and several nieces and nephews.

wasn't she married to harold phillips? I heard he was divorced but not sure where he's at. I wonder if he knew his ex-wife passed away. I am certain he would want to know.
