Money is the root of all evil...the sister should have shared the money from the beginning. When the sister that kept all the money is at the end of her life she will be thinking of the mistake she made by not giving her sister a portion of the winnings. It is not worth cheating someone out of the money. Even if the sister thinks that it is rightfully hers, the correct thing to do is to give her sibling a share. These 2 sisters should come to an agreement before one of them regrets what she has done to the other. You can't take the money with you when you die so do the right thing and give some to your sister.

They are in their eighties, hate to say it but how long are they really going to have left here? Just split it and stop being so selfish.

I hope these two elderly sisters don't let a too-long misunderstanding go on much longer. Life is much too short and when one of them finally dies, it will be too late for the other to say I'm sorry we've wasted these last few years apart. I lost a sibling not too long ago and the last words we spoke to each other before ending a phone call were "I love you" and the next day he was gone. Who do you think would have the sweeter memory?
