Pitbull, whose real name is Armando Perez, said this country was built by immigrants, and "the meaning of the American dream is in that record: struggle, freedom, opportunity, everything they are trying to shut down on us."

This quote comes from an article by Laura Wides-Munoz,
Associated Press Writer concerning the projected Spanish version of the Star Spangled Banner. British music producer Adam Kidron says that when he came up with the idea of a Spanish-language version of the U.S. national anthem, he saw it as an ode to the millions of immigrants seeking a better life, Wides-Munoz wrote.
Anyhow you can go to this website http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/S/SPANIS... to read her article because republication, reproduction, or redistribution of the article is illegal. Please take time to read this. It concerns the mentality of our nation UNDER GOD.

I personally believe that this country does not belong to us; therefore, we have no right to say who stays and who goes.“This land is your land…..this land is made for you and me,” you’ve surely heard the song. I had to sing it in a 4th grade play, and I’m not even half way to my 50s yet . This country was established by immigrants of many roots. Just because the settlers from England of the 13 colonies kicked people out of their homeland and could afford to buy others’ lands does not make their descendants the only people allowed to live her. That would be really bad on our economy because, frankly, not many people would get to stay.
Besides this land we call ours belongs to its creator, GOD, the one whom our nation is founded on. The settlers of the 13 original colonies believed in GOD and made it so far because of their faith in HIM and their strict obedience on HIS laws. We did not seem to have a problem with immigration in this country when all the lazy, tightwad white people wanted slaves to do their work for them (I hate the fact that slavery existed but we must acknowledge that it did because it effected and still effects many people who have lived in this country and helped it grow to what it has become today.) They were pleased to forcibly bring people form their homes into the Untied States for personal gain.

I was born in the United States of America. My skin is white, my hair blonde, and my eyes green, but I have Irish blood, Native American blood (the true first settlers of this country!), and who knows what else since everyone in history does not have a birth certificate, marriage license, etc. For all we know, the people who some seem to want to send back to their “home” countries, could be of ancestry to the original 13 settlers. We all know from previous important government officials (Presidents for example) that not everyone is faithful to their spouse, nor do they tell the truth about everything. Another possibility is that some rich American retired to Mexico or some other country several hundreds or thousands of years ago and had children. Wouldn’t they belong in the United States of America since their daddy and mommy were born there?
We need to stop being so selfish and snobbish about the people who want to share lives here in the Untied States. Wars start when people get angry, so try not to step on too many toes. My grandmother always said,“Kill them with kindness.”

Hey, Not Applicable...
Nobody wants to shut down immigration. We just want Immigrants who want to be Americans and assimilate. Not come to America and try to make it into what they left.
We also dont want criminals. And that's what you are if you try to come to this country without following the procedure. The largest influx of Immigrants was at the turn of the century and guess what. It was done legally.
By the way. Since the wetbacks have been swimming south, Arizona has seen a 25% drop in crime.
Bring to America that which betters America. We have enough American born welfare cases.

Daily Horoscope for December 22

Aquarius

Unfortunately it won't take much to get your wires crossed, especially if you're trying to keep track of your Christmas preparations. It's hard to work out what still needs to be done. A member of the family is away with the fairies or is being completely fanciful. It's a pest because that sort of behavior can make you feel anxious and harassed.
