RACLT is in the middle of an almost $6 million rehabilitation to 28 apartments on Williams Street Extension, Pine Street and South Street in Bellows Falls.

The group also manages an approximately $9 million renovation to 58 affordable apartments in Windsor.
==========

Belows Falls $214,000 per apartment, Windsor $155,000 per apartment.

Plus tax breaks and salaries for the not for profit workers. Than add in rent assistance for people and oh boy are the do gooders helping folks out as they make themselves high paying jobs in the suffering industry and handing the whole bill to taxpayers.

Good thing there is a oversight committee made up of people working other patronage jobs to keep an eye on them.

A rare time that we are in agreement.

It's taxpayers money for the creation and upkeep of crime-producing slums that produce no tax revenue themselves, including no income taxes from the residents.

We don't need it.

Daily Horoscope for December 20

Cancer

If you thought yesterday was fraught with tension the temperature rises a few notches again today, as Mars turns retro in your house of finances and values. What's eating you? Maybe you're annoyed because your spare time is being eroded by duties that are weighing heavily on your shoulders. You might also be miffed by the flippant attitude of a certain person who you think should be taking life a lot more seriously. Calm down or you'll blow a gasket.
