Oh Yeah!! Bill Lamb like in Trustee Bill Laaaamb!!
After the judge was convinced that the berm risks the health and safety of the public, Trustee Lamb insists to continue his legal battle against the public.

The pole is correct, no one here wants to move forward without investigating the facts and eliminating potential. I hope Mr. Lamb retracts..

This is a conflict between big money tax dollars and Mother Nature. After this 20" snow I know where the smart money is betting . Lamb needs a slap of reality--Oh wait, he can buy reality---Get rid of this guy.

Saw the Berm/Flood pictures on the Plainfield Patch today--All I can relate is that commercial--"It's not nice to fool mother nature". It is obvious that the Dupage wants to flow thru this area during flood events --Man is no match for a flood way that has existed since the Ice Age.

Do any of you realize that the proposition is to put the land back to it's natural state before the subdivision was built? Actually below because of this injunction. If the neighborhood was never built, those floods never would have entered. do you know that the neighborhood down the street had water in their basements prior to Lakelands residents even starting to sandbag? Are you aware of the professional studies, including that of the Army Core of Engineers that have said a berm does not affect the downstream flooding? Are you aware that the lake is already a water shed for Lilly Cache? The lake cannot be a watershed for 2 river systems? Bill Lamb aside - you all need to know some more facts before giving your opinions on this project. the Lakelands residents want to protect their investment, just as all of you do regarding your homes that flooded. Before considering the idea of this, the Lakelands had the studies done to ensure they were not affecting other properties to save their own. For some reason - no one is believing the facts.
Take this focus off Bill Lamb and put it back on the topic of the Berm. And look at the FACTS before making your vote of "NO".

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Aries

Your emotions have the upper hand, making you rather fiery and fervent. That's great if you're hoping for a passionate encounter with you-know-who, because you'll be really hot stuff. However, in non-sexual situations you could become somewhat tempestuous and irritable, especially if you suspect that things aren't going the way you want.
