Rather odd column? How would Generation X know who Farrah Fawcett is? They were in diapers when Charlie's Angels was a hit sensation. And Generation-X has no connection to The Jackson 5 what-so-ever. They weren't even alive?

The youngest age-range of the Baby Boomers had the bad today.

Yes, I agree with the first comment. These two stars were baby Boomers and so were their fans. Why is the article titled Generation X?

This column was awful. We X'ers loved Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson, of course, but they weren't OURS.
This column would've been good 14 years ago if it was about Kurt Cobain's death.
