An internal audit caught up with an accountant for Breton USA today. The Sarasota County sheriff's office says Annique V. LeSage embezzled more than $400,000 since last October.

When I met Annique before the embezzlement started, she was a very nice person going thru a divorce. I was so surprised that she would do this. The company she works for has a good reputation. I am curious why she would do something to tarnish the accounting field that she seemed to care about. What was she thinking? What happened with the money? How is her family? Who has the answers? Will there be a more indepth story?
Just for the record--when I met her she did not look like a crackhead--she was a beautiful person.

People with tattoos, no jobs, no education will be given 2 weeks to steal as much as they can. The one with the most money at the end of the season will get to appear on Survivor, Big Brother, Fat Oprah, Trump the Jerk and Big Stoopit Brother.

Very Ignorant. Annique is one of my closest and dearest friends We are ALL in Shock and trying to cope. Hearing things like DRUGS and CRACKHEAD is stupid and uncalled for, You people sound like the druggies.
Annique is a loving caring mother who has been through a lot,So take it easy you don't know her, you only hear and read crap from the TV and Newspaper. Do you believe everything you watch and read...isn't there almost ALWAYS more to the story. Yes, you ignorant fools.

Our government says that we are innocent until proven guilty. Unfortunately in this case there seems to be quite a bit of evidence and a lovely paper trail. We will see.....

I am not the least bit surprised. She has done this before. The only difference is the last employer just fired her and chose not to prosecute. They just didn't think they had enough evidence to make it stick. Apparently this company does.
