Echo Park 1 Of '10 Great Neigborhoods For 2008'

Echo Park has been named one of the "10 Great Neighborhoods for 2008," the American Planning Association announced Wednesday.

Its really too Bad, but some of the worse things happen in this area and yet they say its one of the best, Sorry, I don't agree! too many people saying things that aren't true. Come around after sunset, then tell us about it!

Complete rubbish! When has echo park been great? I had friends that came to visit from out of town and taken them to a cafe in echo park, and they didin't want to get out of the car. They thought it was a getto...

if its so bad you should consider moving to higher snotter grounds, have lived in Echo Park over 30 yrs. and you are so wrong!!! Since GENTIFICATION hit we have become the 21 and over drinking community of Los Angeles, I'd rather deal with the gang bangers than with the driving drunks who come to my community to PARTY pee in peoples yards, have sex in the street and they are all Anglo kids to boot! If it was the Mexican kids oh, the old guard would have called the cops, but since liquior is quicker and makes money for the city what do they care.....
