the owner didnt pay the vig to corporate and the stop sending food. all three bk's, merril road, 1st st. and lenox are closed.

All these fast food joints in Pittsfield suck, Applebee's is the worst the shit looks old and recycled yer food is cold and to put it mildly disgusting.
Old Country Buffet...you can actually shitt your pants before yer done eating.

Yeah go to Halpins if you want to be waited on by the absolute rudest waitresses I have ever encountered. I think not. I'll take my business somewhere where I'm not made to feel like I'm bothering them by being there.

Does the Lantern have a drivethrough? I really liked the one at BK but the waitress wasn't pretty.

I say now there is an opportunity for someone to go in there and clean them up! Why look at it as 'one more dirty thing gone'? A lot of people are out of jobs now...which puts us back into the spot we were in with unemployment...so all of you that are working right now, paying taxes for these folks to live, are hypocrites. Or just nothing but a bunch of whiners! Now, all these unemployed have nowhere to work, and you complain about them. In about 2 weeks you will be complaining about unemployment. I look at this as a new opportunity for the right person. ANYTHING can be cleaned up and with the proper owner, it can be thriving again! If I could clean it up, I would. All it takes is the right attitude! The food may not be good for you, but when I was a kid, it was the memory...

They can apply at Five guys. They are hiring about 40 people according to the contractor who's doing the work and has built several of these stores for the owner. He said they are opening in Mid-Aug.

go ahead try a burger from there after you shat your pants and have the i.v. taken out when the vomiting stops AND you feel like having a burger again.......you know were north st voted best in the berkshires for over 40 years.....also NO pink slime used here

yeah i do i know the guy he is bad with his finances and is highly in debt and wasnt paying his bills so he decided toclose the BK's and take his money and bet on the OTB's rather than even pay his employees

Word is the places were not up to BK standards so, after repeated warning from BK corporate, they had enough and pulled his Franchise. Basically, they pulled down any and all BK signage and stopped delivering him food, also took cups, napkins.... Anything with their company name on it. They may reopen as Corporate stores like Wendys did when the same thing happened there a few years ago. Not sure who owns the buildings tho, Corporate, Franchisee or were they all just leased.

I agree but the employees were flat out stupid for believeing the place would last when the managers would eat the food of f the customers trays. Or that Tim manager on merrill rd who didnt know what a clock or shower was used for. The owner is a Dick by all means of the word
