the nilans have police records, witness accounts, electronic records, etc., and now that the criminal case is over, it's safe to say they can talk. Remember, the original charges were dismissed.
Maybe they'll let it die, maybe they won't, but I'll bet they can prove everything they do say.

This is complete BS. Do you know how hard it is to get a restraining order when you actually need one? It is damn near impossible. It usually takes some act of violence to get one.

This is so wrong on so many levels. This is a slap in the face to all the woman and men who have actually been threatened and do fear for their lives.

And, could her comments have been more scripted? Please. If you are afraid of Mr. Valenti, Ms. Nilan, just wait until Mr. Moore's attorney(s) and his Medical Insurance company start coming after you! But unfortunately daddy won't be able to gag them!

There will not be a civil trial in this case. Because Nilan already admitted to negligent driving and causing Moore's injuries, it's simply a matter of putting a value on his case. It will settle before trial, and no one will know how much her insurance company will have paid out.

There can always be a civil lawsuit. As far as his medical insurance goes, they will go after her/family for evey cent they pay out for his medical care, it is what they do. She admitted to causing his injuries, and insurance companies while medical or auto will go after the guilty party for everything!

Actually they can go after both. THEY can sue her. I have worked in insurance my whole life. I see cases like these all the time. Just like if you are in an auto accident, your attorney will go after the other person's insurance co first, but if they have inadequate insurance they go after the person themselves.
