Thank you, Barack Hussein Obama and Congressman John Olver and Congressman Richard E. Neal (who wants to be the next Congressman for Berkshire County now that Olver is retiring) and thank you to the rest of the Democrats in the U.S. House and Senate. Heller, as he had been wrong in every single one of his predictions about this case, is wrong yet again. The Reagan and GW Bush tax increases were larger than the Affordable Care Act. This is from that leftist newspaper, Business Week. http://www.businessweek.com/articles/2012-07-... And, you forgot to thank John Roberts, Olympia Snowe, and the Heritage Foundation, which is responsible for the individual mandate. That's one big evil leftist cabal you have, Glenn.

Obamacare is simply not the biggest tax increase in history. Not even close. People like you watch Fox and listen to Limbaugh because they reinforce your world view, which is full of resentment and hostility. You cannot think for yourself. You just look for someone to blame and think America is a Toby Keith song. Right, Debbie?

Reagan did raise taxes, significantly. Romney is the only person who can repeal the affordable care act, you know the same thing he signed into law when he was governor of Massachusetts. The law he championed and now serves as a model for the federal law. Oh wait a second.... From Bloomberg: Republicans such as House Speaker John Boehner (R.-Ohio) have been particularly keen on bringing up small business, arguing that Obamacare amounts to a tax hike for them. If you’re a business with up to 25 employees, you’re also going to get a big tax credit to help with your employees’ health-care bill. After 2014, that credit will cover up to 50 percent of employer contributions. Taken together, claims that Obamacare amounts to the largest tax hike in the entire history of humanity—or even the last 20 years—don’t add up. A chart from the Washington Post: http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/ezra-klei...

If you look at the chart you will note that five of the largest 15 tax increases were signed into law by Ronald Reagan.

No doubt you like the idea because you're already on the dole or on disability. A ha! Using the future tense ("will dwarf") reveals your claim (which you're parroting for Lumbaugh) to be yet another fantastical leap of logic. Something can't "the biggest tax increase in history" if you then say, in the next breath, "Well, it will be." Unlike you, I like to go to the source. The best source for your profound concern for the welfare of the populace in the face of Obamacare is the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office. The CBO estimates that the Affordable Care Act will reduce the deficit by approximately $200 billion through 2021. http://www.cbo.gov/publication/22077 And, Reagan's tax increase of 1982 is twice that of Obamacare: http://theincidentaleconomist.com/wordpress/o...

HellerCarbonCapNTradeLLC wrote: <quoted text> The CBO report is hogwash and you know it, Solons. How can something which collects taxes for years before it is fully in effect be claimed to save money? Once it is fully in effect, costs far outstrip any tax collections. How do you know what Limbaugh says unless you listen to his show? The CBO is hogwash? Prove it. And, thanks for just admitting you regurgitated this claptrap from Rush.

You think it'll be a small tax, Solons? Figures a freeloader like you who is on the dole would defend an abomination like this. Solons, did the government pay for your ride today to Williamstown? Tell that to John Roberts. Prove I'm on the dole, you indigent stalker.

Was it a tax when Romney signed it into law in Massachusetts? The republican party has become beyond ridiculous. How can your nominee fight a law that he put into place in Massachusetts? How can they criticize Obama for this when their nominee did the exact same thing in Massachusetts? I think it is time to start thinking 2016, Romney would be worse than Obama on so many levels.
