Macy's employees are abunch of lazy, over made up,gossipping broads. I went there to purchase makeup last week and stood at the counter for approx 15min before being asked for assistance. i am refering to the robinson twp location also. What is up with the hiring ethics?

I don't understand what the big deal is? Most jobs have dress codes. It makes you look more professional and they should understand that. They are made about paying money for clothes? Don't they get an employee discount on clothes anyway?

You must be a high level manager. And how does a sales clerk look "Professional" We throw that word around too much.

OVERPAID SUBRBANITES???? You try working for this lousy company and see how "rich" you get. I worked there for almost 6 years and it totally sucked and that was before Macy's took over Lazarus! You probably never had to work a day in your life let alone a crappy retail job and put up with abusive customers!

I've worked for now Macy's (Hudson's, Marshall Fields. Target) in Michigan for 29 years....the company's conditions keep getting worse.... Macy's hires no full time employee's no set hours or are on call and start at $7.oo an hour... Macy's is steadley working on getting rid of there full time employee's.....Why as an employyee should I care about you... You've had a bad day at work, come in a hurry don't have time and expect me to kiss your ass!!!! I'll treat you the way you treat me.....I'll say Hi you'll act like you didn't even hear me but when you need to be waited on you where hear first no matter whom I would be taking care of....Coupons.... the company can stick where the sun don't shine. We have rules to follow but you want us to give it to you for nothing.....Coupons......As for wearing Black it sucks.....I can go on & on but no body wins......

Oh, for God's sake, if you don't like the job, QUIT. There's so much more to life, when an employer can't get employees, then they change or go out of business.
