You guys are grasping at straws too. Again, you are quoting statistics for Students who aren't even here yet. That can't possibly reflect how things are now. UCSC is closing the doors and trying to get rid of its Riff Raff image it has enjoyed for decades. Some whiplash overnight change in policy will not make you guys Einsteins all of a sudden. Besides, the methamphetamine story is true for BOTH schools. The COPS found methamphetamine so pure they knew it was being made up at UCSC by chemists with purification equipment. He went to jail...

So you didn't research that and you want to use it to instantly dismiss multiple counts of Robbery, Conspiracy, violence and so on. That is Straw man. to a 'T'.

The grad student who made morphine was convicted and yet is still working at your lame school.

5000 UCSC student getting stoned with a FEW people from town is more like it. You are obviously biased and making weak excuses for the Schools biggest downfall. Take an honesty pill.

You guys can't back up your claims either. Sorry, but it don't float. The school is not some miracle success just because they have changed their standards all of a sudden.

They were the bottom for a long time. Merced is too new to be anything but a failure. Don't worry Santa Cruz will sink again.

If they really are the top 12%, God help us. It would appear to explain a lot of the screwed up things going on today in our world today.

It really looks to me like you have an irrational hatred of UCSC and are grasping at straws to try and "prove how bad it is". Your claims are meaningless without citations. The burden of proof is on you to back up what you are saying- ever heard of putting your money where your mouth is?

Why don't you 'scholars' look them up. They were all in the news. It shouldn't take you seven years either.

See, I'm not the one responsible for researching these claims because I didn't make them. You made the claims therefore the burden of proof is on you to back them up. I'm not saying they didn't happen- I'm saying you need to provide citations if you want to be taken seriously.

Did you notice how I included a link to a reputable source backing up what I said? That is what you need to do if you don't want to look like a crackpot. I am not going to do your homework for you. Provide me a source for each one of the claims that you made and I will eat my words. Until then, big shot, learn not to run your mouth unless you can back up what you are saying.
