Not sure why paying our police a good wage is a bad thing or it needs to be posted as if it were scandalous. I sure as hell would never put my life on the line like cops do. And to the dude stealing peoples guitars: Dude, That's pretty low!

Just because one student is a thief does not make all of them that way. Are you sad you did not go to college? It is not too late...you can still go to school.
Waaaaah....Move. Us fourth generation locals actually dig having a great university for us and our children to attend. Do get mad because you got kicked out of Cabrillo for being to stupid. Get out of our town, loser. |
His parents must be so proud!
He even looks stupid

Wow! Surprised the Sentinel didn't even continue further on listing the ethnic background and if he had a Visa to study in this country. Surely a latino would have committed such heinous crime.

One thing boggles my mind in regards to the burglar story: why didn't he get rid of all the stolen property after getting released on bail and before the cops got a warrant? He should get deported.
And if he proves beyond reasonable doubt that he was burglarizing those homes to pay tuition, they ought to drop all the charges. ;) |

How nice. Three reports of our burglary and not one sheriff ever came to take a report. Guess the Santa Cruz Mountains arent worth a sh*t to these guys.

Anyone with a shred of intelligence would most likely think that way. Clearly Benny-boy is not the sharpest crayon in the box. Sort of like the guy in the first couple posts who blamed UCSC and all of its students for every bad thing happening in Santa Cruz. Bravo, sir...bravo. You and Ben here are a match made in heaven. |

"Inside the car, detectives found stolen items including purses, guitars, amplifiers, camcorders, cameras, an X-Box, a PlayStation and computers, Clark said."
Just how BIG is this guy's car? |

UCSC students do in fact slarve... It's a fact. Studying anthropology and under water basket weaving, trashing all the houses around town, being blindly supported by their out of town parents while they smoke pot, protest, hug trees and spread the herp!
Yo JDog! I'm a local too and I'm sick and tired of these fools at UCSC. I'm not moving and I'm sick of dealing with idiots like yourself who truly don't understand what this city was like before the University went in. This was a great city but the slow drippage of problems from the University has contaminated the rest of this city. Pick a subject JDog and let's debate it. This town IS NOT better off since the University has gone in. Your turn Dog, let's hear your bark! |
Also, anyone want to bet that the kid from UCSC was hooked on DRUGS? Place your bets! A diversity trained kid who shoots smack, mmmmm great example from the higher learning on the top of the hill

We can't blame this poor boy. With his poor education, he would probably end up working at McDonalds or maybe become that guy in the Kiosk on Pacific selling hot dogs.
Given the poor choices he has one can easily understand why he chose a life of crime. He probably doesn't even see it as a crime. Some liberal professor like Rotkin probably taught him some shady theory about false entitlement of the Bourgeois. Obviously that property is rightfully his anyway. |
Oh yeah, let me bash the school too.
UCSC largest demographic is that they have the bottom 40% of high school students metriculating to their piece of krap, liberal, addled brained poor excuse of a school. The kids are so stupid they think theft like this is a bright idea. This has happened before.... Remember the UCSC students who robbed Circuit City? Do you remember the UCSC students who tried to rob Costco? I think a UCSC student tried to rob a bank too. It is sad, but they are really that re-tarded. |
UCSC is the laughing stock of the entire education system.
They don't call is Uncle Charlies Summer Camp for no reason. Berkeley and Stanford don't have ridiculous nick names like that. Ever wonder why???? |
He has a lot of sores on his face. I immediately thought he was a meth user. |
If you use the search site Intelius, using the suspect's name, you will see his parents names. Then use Zaba search site on the names to see where they are and have been. Then use your usual search engine using the info you have gathered and you will be surprised how much information you will find about the family's education, employment/vocation/avocation, religeous ethnicity etc. This family has alot to deal with. I will take the high road and assume they cannot explain what went wrong and they tried every resource they knew of to fix it. In my humble opinion, the jail picture with facial pustules at age 25, is that of a meth addict. |
Where are you getting this? The admissions requirements for ALL UCs are quite strict and translate to something like top 10%. |
Lets start out by you telling me how great it was, and how old you were in 1967 before the University got here.(I ask cause I think the context of if you were actually here then or not is important.)
What specifically do you think was better then that is now worse due exclusively to UC's presence? |
