I am trying to date an old photograph. It was done by the Stevens studio in Chatsworth. Does anyone know when that firm was in business. A date range would be most appreciated.

In the book "Sands of Time,150 Years Around Chatsworth, Illinois", the Marie Stevens Studio is mentioned as early as 1900 from the local paper, the "Plaindealer" and there is a picture of the studio taken in the 1930's. She may have started earlier that tho. A woman photographer at that time was very rare. I believe she may have taken on the studio of her brother-in-law, who was photographer in the late 1800's. She was also a great artist and did many paintings.
