My heart goes out to this little girl. I have heard rumor that as many as 20 people were cheering these boys on as they raped and beat this young girl. I just cannot believe that out of 20 people not ONE had the courage or heart to go for help. Where was Jesus at in these kids hearts when this happened? This youong lady will never be able to lead a normal life. She will probably never trust a male for the rest of her days. I feel terrible for her. I hope that God is present with her now. I am going to continue to pray for her and her family. As for the others involved. I hope they all go to hell.

The rapists were just doing what their elders do in voting themselves benefits from the public purse.

There were twelve or more who voted for 'public option' sex. The victim was only paying 'her fair share''cause SOMEBODY has to fund the 'public option'. This is how the United States does things these days.

Where were the chaperones? When I chaperoned school dances during my teaching days, a teacher would always go out in the parking lot to see if anything was going on. Usually once they left a dance, they were not allowed back in. I also cannot understand how this event took 2.5 hours.... A faculty member should have been walking around outside and definitely, YES, a student should have reported it. Were there no girls looking on at this??? If there were females, I don't know how they couldn't put themselves in this girl's place. Kids have no feelings anymore; they don't care about consequences; only enjoy the moment and forget about what might happen to them.

I believe these kids just don't have respect for a woman, so that would mean they don't even have respect for their own mothers,aunts or grandmother. "Illegals or anchor babies" as PSL posted...it doesn't matter what race they were, black, white, Asian or Latin THEY SHOULD HAVE NOT TOUCHED HER!!! These punks deserve to pay the time, just like rapist and molesters have to pay theirs. How can these guys do such a thing to a young girl and mess her up for the rest of her life, this girl is traumatize buy these young idiots. I feel for her and her parents and may God help her through this terrible ordeal.

I disagree with you - with good counceling and becoming an advocate for the cause - she may well grow into a healthy adult and have a very productive life with a husband. You are clueless when you say this.

Where did you read in the articles that "they are children of illegal aliens". Just because they have hispanic surnames, is that why??? Hate to tell you this but maybe YOU should educate YOURSELF. This occurred in Northern California. You are aware that California was, up until 1849 part of New Spain along with what is now Mexico??? So it is entirely possible that those boys families have been here for many generations. I live in So. Cal, and our town is 98% hispanic at this point, and about 80% of them, have been here since the early 1900's...so i know it is entirely possible...

Geez.... have you ever seen so many bigots and racists on one forum outside a white supremacist web site? They're coming out of the woodwork. They're like vultures.

A lot of them are even making accusations against all Hispanics. Some on a couple threads have even brought blacks into it.

This is sick. However, I cannot believe what some of you are saying. You CANNOT blame this on certain races!!! Heaven knows what evil things our race has done, and you go around blaming hispanics, blacks, etc. Do you even know how evil we were to blacks before? It doesn't MATTER how many people are jailed-- there are MANY accidental arrests, and even more arrests where the culprits just haven't been found.

To the residents of Richmond,
Your city is a disgrace--why? because your residents did not look after a well being of a teenager who was gang raped, yet your teen aged citizens and other stood by and let it happened for two hours until someone alerted law enforcement authorities. People, this is not about race, but a teenager who will for the rest of her life will experience flashbacks, even fear because ignorant people thought is cool to violate a young lady. If I was the President, if the next round of stimulus funds rolls around, Richmond should not be on the list because of their ignorance and uncaring attitude. And this includes the school system too.
