Lies
Stanton, KY
|
Saying the tax money can only be used for police funds only is a complete lie! Each city can draw up how they want to use the money. Most cities have a general fund that the money can be used for to upgrade the city in anyway shape or form. This is why Bell Co has NO JOBS or anything for kids to do. Worry about the DRUG problem we have. Alcohol is allowed, Meth and Marj and overusage of pills is not!!

The same type of lies went around when the City voted moist for the purpose of trying to get the hotel. Flyers were going around that Pineville did not want a hotel, they just wanted to sell beer downtown. Just like then, soon you will see the lies in the local newspapers. These people make us look so lowly educated just to protect their interests, which is money from their shared drug dealing. Remember, most of the Churches, I said most of them, not all of them, but most of your Churches get big money from drug dealers. Check it out. Call some people. What I say is true. I am an old person, but not a stupid person. Vote wet to protect your children from the weasels who sell all kinds of dope, not just alcohol. Also, the police can concentrate more on the meth and pills after alcohol is legalized.

lol wrote: yep and we all see how pineville going moist has benefited the city lol lol Your stupidity is showing. Yes, Pineville did not benefit. The Hotel plan fell through the first time because the developer had trouble financing the deal. The war in Iraq and Katrina had a bit to do with price changes, if you can comprehend: you know like the price of steel and concrete tripling in price. Anyway, regardless of the hotel not going in the first time, in and of itself; the failure, helped make a good point that the Bible thumpers can in no way argue now: Going moist did NOT put honky tonks and beer joints on every corner, as their doom and gloom newspaper ads predicted. Turned out that all the Bible thumpers were the liars, as you say so laughingly above: how did it benefit Pineville? Not a bit, but it proved a major thing, what terrible lies can be made up by the Bible crowd to protect their Drug buddy's who donate so lovingly to the Churches. Are you still LOL? Have you seen any ads in the paper lately? No. These hippocrites now know that their lying antics have been exposed to be totally untrue. I pray for them. They are the ones that need God. Maybe you do to.

Maybe you do to. If you are going to tell something, tell the truth. Financing had NOTHING to do with the last hotel project falling through. Bob Madon and his church buddies got together and went to then Gov. Fletcher (Republican like madon) and had it held up until the developer gave up. Fletcher would not let the forestry move thus holding up everything. The blame goes to madon and his church pals, the same one's who got him sent to PRISON. Should have had to spend the rest of his life in there.

Does anyone really believe - with all the doctors, lawyers, and slushers around Pineville nobody could come up with 1.3 million to invest in a hot deal like that hotel? So why do they always want to use tax money and save theirs?
If the PEOPLE of Pineville want it wet, it needs to be wet. If we just wanted whoever could pull the most strings to decide, we'd go by that. Doesn't matter to me how it goes but don't tell people lies and try to keep them from even voting.

It is called OPM. Other Peoples Money. When you can get something done, legal or illegal, without spending a single penny of your own money, you are doing quite well. It is always best to use OPM. Now, there is one catch to all that, you have to be in the crowd to use OPM.

Right, and when the big ideas fall flat - like Off-Track - you can always use your money to buy it up cheap. You can bet nobody but the insiders would even get a chance at it.

You used the right term. Insider. These things done around here for self benefit is insider trading. No different than the guys on Wall Street. I have heard for years and years that the bankers get information on property, maybe somebody comes in for a loan on some good property. The bank checks it out, and if the bank or certain employees, or friends of the employees like the property, the bank says no to the original loan request so that their friends can make the purchase. If you could catch somebody doing that, you should turn them in immediately. I am too old to try to help.
