agreed. the site is always experiencing technical difficulties. there is only one phone number listed and the line is always busy. after hanging up and pressing redial repeatedly for a very long times, some times 10 mins-45mins or more, i am told that due to the overwhelming amount of calls, no one is available to take your call and to try back later. god forbid if you need to speak to a representitive about your claim.

I just filed on fluidnow.com being an out of work albertsons employee. I filed September 1st and had my acceptance letter on Saturday the 13th. It worked well for me. But I do agree about the phone number being always busy

You experience may change once you start claiming your weeks. That's usually the biggest problem with the site glitching.

Its IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of a live person. heres a thought, when record number of people are unemployed, and your agency happens to be the only one people go to for this thing, you would think to expand the agency to take car of the fluctuation. does anyone know how we can fight back? people are not able to get the needed funds due to their lack of concern. i've spent weeks trying to contact them by phone but i always get "due to high call volume nobody is availble" what BS!

I've been having the same problem with contacting them by phone. It's pretty much making me insane! It says my check was direct deposited on the 27th of October but there's nothing in my account. This is ridiculous. How am I supposed to find out what's going on?!

I sent an e-mail to the Governor & Lt. Governor.
Subject: "An agent is not available at this time."
I received a "response"(?) "automatically"!
Automatic Response From Governor:
"Due to the volume of emails sent to the Governor, there may be a delay in responding to your email."
Automatic Response From Lt. Governor:
"Unfortunately, due to the volume of correspondence my office receives, it is not always possible to provide a personal response."

My girlfriend lost her job october 13 and has been receiving emails reminding her to claim her weeks, which she has been doing since losing her job.

The amount she is entitled is a total of $5000, with a $264 weekly amount...she has yet to be paid a dime....is it normal for it to take this long, or it for certain that she has been approved if she is receiving these claim reminders?

The whole site is a sick joke. Whoever runs that office should be lynched. I have been calling for weeks and I have yet to speak to a single person. They don't have a place to leave messages, I can't even find out if my paperwork has been recieved. Rot in hell you lousy bastards.

I have been trying to call for weeks because we do not get weekly deposits that we are entitled to and no one ever answers the phones. I sent an email to the Gov. as well I'm sure I won't get a response. How do they expect people to survive?

How is it that they can withold money that we are legally entitled to, neglect to answer any calls, fail to process anything in a timely manner and not have it be considered criminal on the part? And to top it off, for the last extension that they put in effect as of NOVEMBER 23rd, they don't even offer an online claim form as they have with all the previous claims. I highly think that once the claim is processed, whenever they get off their lazy goddamn asses to do so, that they will not make it retroactive to 11/23 and will also enact a one week waiting period even though that was already established on the initial claim. Where is our legal reps on this one?

If you are calling Florida. When it says everyone is busy hit 5 and then 0. If you keep doing that you will get someone on the phone. I have called everyday and get told that there is no new information. I have 3 children and can not even buy Christmas gifts. They dont care cause its not them waiting on the money.

Yes I agree!!! Where do we write to complain???

I've been trying for two weeks to get through to them on the phone and I have at least 6 weeks of unemployment checks that SHOULD be coming to me and have not received a PENNY yet!!!

I was actually able to get a hold of someone today. From what I was told:

Nobody has recieved any money and only as of yesterday have they started processing the claims. The money should be mailed out around the end of this week and into next week, retroactive as of november 23rd, if you have still been claiming the weeks.

I find this equally relieving as I do frustrating since I leave town for 2 weeks and no matter how many times I set up direct deposit, they still send the damn paper check and tell me they have no record of me suplly the bank information. Even though I've done it six times. A day late and a dollar short, as always.

call 800-732-8204. Hit 1 for english and then 0 for operator. when it says all customer reps are busy hit 5 and then 0. Keep doing that and you will get someone on the phone. They told me the extension was input and they are waiting on someone to put the weeks in.

I am in the same boat as everyone else here. Claiming week after week and no check. I just sent a nice note to baynews 9, Fox 13, and 10 connect news in the Tampa Bay area. If we all do this in a nice way with your local news stations, perhaps we can get some help here. We all know the Government is not the place to turn for help. Again if you write your news station please be profesional and courteous, it's not their fault.

I made a copy of the aplication for the second extension, filled out and mailed over 2 weeks ago. I have not received any word yet. I was told either I would get a letter with the application or a phone call. I havent seen either. They have all this money, probably collecting interest in a bank somewhere. Why rush to hand it out to the Floridians that truly need it in order to put gas in the car to continue the job search.Oh ya, last August they lost my application and after 2 monthes I called and did it over the phone. This time they have no way to apply for a claim other than by application mailed in.Any updated info. i can use?

Daily Horoscope for December 19

Scorpio

A loved one is extremely upset today, and you'll soon know all about it. Things are out of proportion, so a minor hitch becomes a huge drama that means you've got to drop everything in order to calm them down. Hey ho. At least it won't last long. If you're doing some last-minute Christmas shopping, you won't have as much patience as usual and nor will anyone else.
