How great for this teacher, reputation ruined. His family put through hell. Good job investigating.

Charges filed using the make of the car? No license, no one identifying the exposed, but enough to file charges?
I guess we will stop at nothing to protect a bus load of girls.

"Former Teacher", meaning his livelihood was also taken. My prayers go out for this man and his family. May there be complete restoration for him in the very near future.

Prosecutor should have exercised some judgement and not proceeded. Now he/she just looks like an idiot.

Pretty weak case...

Goodhue County needs a new County Attorney, not to mention some new investigators. This is shades of Scott County under Kathleen Morris.

Kathleen Morris, now that name conjures up some real nightmares from many years ago.
I wonder who she is 'prosecuting' now?

You aren't aware that no matter how crass they are and charge someone with flimsy evidence that later falls apart, they never try and make amends. No apology, no story to clear them and try to repair the damage. They leave the accused with no recourse except to sue for damages which is then paid by their fellow taxpayers. What a system.

Sue for damages??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! all of these people have immunities and they also have all of our tax money to carry on litigation forever. To get justice in this country all UNCONSTITUTIONAL immunities have to be taken away.

Once charges like these have been made, they live forever. It won't even matter that the charges were thrown out.
In our district some sixth grade girls ruined the career of a teacher. After the process was over, and the man was no longer a teacher, the girls admitted that everything they had said was made up. They were just playing a game. Even the principal quit after that one; the principal said he couldn't work in a system that gave so much power to the accuser.
When there is solid proof (like that nutty coach in Wisconsin who shows up in the woman's bedroom) go for the strongest possible punishment. But don't take all charges as truth.

This story absolutely BEGS for a video of the scene from Porky's where the girls gym teacher tries to convince the principal to do a lineup to identify the culprit by inspecting their "tallywhackers"!

Daily Horoscope for January 7

Taurus

The current planetary influences tend to make everyone groan a bit. Life is not perfect and may be less pleasant than usual, but what can you do? Get real for one thing! That's the way it is and once you accept this, everything becomes much easier to handle. Be solid and dutiful - qualities for which the Bull is renowned - and you'll come out the other side with your halo polished. Focus on some undeveloped potential in your life and take the first steps towards realising it.
