If you were a true panther fan you would know that anything less than making it to state is a failure as far as football is concerned. But I assume you like many other Pikeville fans have grown accustomed to mediocrity so you must have revised your expectations. Have fun this season watching Allen Central win your weak district. Pikeville will be very lucky to finish this season with a 500 record.

I am a fan of PHS SPORTS. WE WERNT DISAPPOINTED last season, bet Harlan was. This is a young team not like Harlan mostly upperclassmen. We will still be proud. Most are 9th and 10th graders with a few 11th and 12th graders. So F@CK YOU and the big hoss you rode in on. Ride on back to Harlan Co. Or wherever you are from.

You truly are ignorant. Our expectations are always high. Allen Central has as much of a chance to win our district as a snowball in Hades. This is a very tough 1A district, with Raceland, Pikeville, etc.

Sorry to tell you but Raceland is not in Pikeville's district. The district is Pikeville, South Floyd, Allen Central and Phelps. Which by the ratings year in and year out makes it the weakest District of the 8 class A Districts. Every year it is the weakest district.

Pikeville lost 41-21. They got smashed just like I said they would. If they don't beat Powell Co next week then. They will be 0-6 before they get a win against South Floyd on OCT 5th and that might even be a challenge.

I just want to say. They are just young kids. Let the kids just play the games. I have played sports in high school and I know that things of this nature don't do anything but just ruin it for the players. Just let them play the games and let the post on topix go.
